HELP!

Body:

I am actively seeking alternative treatments for my rectocele. I have been diagnosed this week and my doctor has not given me any other options other than surgery... he simply handed me a pelvic support problem pamphlet from his desk drawer and told me to call him when I was ready to schedule my surgery...that's it. I have an appointment with another doctor (a female) next week for a second opinion. If anyone has any advice, or has had this same type of prolapse, I am really needing some help. I simply do not want to have this surgery!

Teresa, I don't have a large retocele but last year I started
really having troubles being constipated. I work on the posture, I need to get better about the excercises, but I also make sure I am eating well so things can move right on through!I think that is extremely important. Since for me that is the main discomfort of this. Drink plenty of fluids too. I posted earlier, that if nothing else eat an apple a day! Diana
