When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

high heeled shoes and walking
high heeled shoes for me is a big no-no. I find it near impossible to get even close to good posture while wearing heels. also, its harder for me to comfortably wear my baby while I'm in heels. so I've turned into my mom, and I rarely wear heels anymore. and my podiatrist brother in law applauds me, he says heels ruin your feet.
as for walking, I say start slow and walk as much as you can. your body will let you know when you're doing too much. I think everyone's different, also depends on your overall level of fitness. but in general I think walking is wonderful for just about everyone.

High heels
Hi Shellymum
I find I can wear high heels for sitting occasions, but I wouldn't try to walk any great distance in them. It is just too dangerous. When I am doing my everyday stuff I am fortunate to be able to go barefoot, or wear thongs (Ozzie for flipflops) or workboots out in the paddock.
When I have to look respectable or stand or walk for an extended period, I have flat-heeled dress thongs in a couple of colours, or flat-heeled slip-ons or flat-heeled boots or laceups for winter. Around the house in winter I wear ugg boots. However, I do have dancing shoes with 2 inch heels which work fine, as I can dance in posture anyway (latin & ballroom) and have to keep my knees flexed for dancing anyway. These dancing shoes were custom made, have open toes, very good arch support and very flexible suede soles. Bellydancing and ballet workout is strictly bare feet. When I am can be sitting a lot, eg dinners and concerts, I bring out the 3 1/2 inch stilettos, just so I can be a real lady twice a year. The tiara also comes out for these occasions too!
I figure that wearing high heels is a bit like doing releves, so it can't be all that bad, except that you never come down onto flat feet! In practice, I usually slip high heels off when I am sitting down, if I can get away with it! Bare feet is definitely my favourite. I go through a lot of pumice.
I still find allowing my belly to relax is a constant reminder process, but it pays off. I have given myself permission to ditch any trousers, skirts or dresses that compress my belly. They are just not comfortable any more.
Cheers
Louise
