When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

RE: prolapse
Hi Sweetnoni
I think Christine is away so it is up to us oldies to welcome you to this forum. We are all in the same boat here and glad to have the support of each other. Your story is so similar to my own. I, like yourself, felt a bulge that frightened me, I didn't go to A & E, but almost did, I ran to a lady GP and she sent me to a gyn. who wanted to do hysterectomy plus repair (unlike your gyn). I also came away, shocked and forgot to ask what kind of prolapse I had. I also had a ring pessary inserted, that I endured for only one night and tried it once since and it was a disaster so it is in the bin. I got the sea sponges, I find them moderately effective, they irritate me slightly, but if you squeeze them out in water before inserting them, they will be more comfortable. There are a number of sites that sell them, just type in "sea pearls" and you will get the info. on them. I live in Ireland and I got them from the UK, they were aroun

RE: prolapse
sweetnoni Thank you Brigid for your reply. The pessary thing is really a bummer. I find it is effecting my urinary tract. But now I have a most imtimate question for you, or others who might read this. How does intercourse with your mate effect this condition? For him, he can't tell a difference, he says. I find a less sensuous pleasure, but am finding also a irritation in the vaginal tract. I return to my gyn
next week and will definitely ask what degree and what type of prolapse this is. I will definitely do some research on the sponges. Thanks again.

RE: prolapse
Dear Sweetnoni,
We're not great fans of pessaries here...it may be worth your time and money to try some of the other ones, but very few of us have had any luck and some feel the rigid, firm object keeping their vagina open (the upper vagina is supposed to lay flat) caused further prolapse in the form of rectocele.
Move the entire fascial envelope that surrounds and holds all your organs into better position with the posture. This pushes your bladder/uterus over your pubic bone and stretches the vagina/rectum toward the back where they can flatten against intraabdominal pressure.
Wishing you well,
Christine

I also despised the rubber thingy in me and finally gave up on it. I think it contributed to me creating a rectocele. After all, we are inserting a hard rubber ring using already compromised tissues.
I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I found that by standing, knees slightly bent, I squeeze my "bum-bum's" together and hold for as long as I can. I honestly think I can feel some rising with the organs. In that position, were I to attempt to push on the "celes, nothing felt like falling out. So - I am going to assume by doing this, I am strengthening those muscles thus promoting more of a stronger area. One can do this whenever and wherever. I try to do this sustaining exercise about a total of five minutes a day, two minutes at a time.

About your intimate promlem, when you are lying down everything is back in place so intercourse feels the same for the men. I find as I get older sensation is not as it used to be, maybe that was because of my prolapse, I don't know, but also my desire was down. I am working on that one myself and have not a lot of success yet, I was told the kegel exercises help the sex life by tightening the muscles in the pelvic floor area and sesame seeds, I put a handful in my cereal in the mornings. Christine may have some other ideas on some natural 'Female Viagra' to spice up our lives.;)

Sybille - I think you must be related to my mother, since I thought I was the only person on the planet who grew up saying "bum-bum". :D
I agree that "The Squeeze" is very useful - thank you for suggesting it. I do this with toe-raises.
