Coughing & Sneezing

Hi all,

I have gotten a terrible cold from the kids and hubby. I need some advice to the correct way to control stomach or pelvic muscles when i am having my coughing and sneezing fits. Right now, I am relaxing all the muscles and trying not to blow my nose too hard.

I sometimes feel pain down there when sneezing hard. Anyway, just trying not to do more damage with this cold. THanks all, much appreciated for ur advice.

Bend over at the waist as far as necessary to move your organs out of the way of the pressure when you sneeze, cough, or blow your nose.

I would add to that -- bend at the waist over while in a half squat. This way all the forces do not go to the pelvic area and you are strengthening your gluts and thighs all at the same time! Feel better!
