kneeling and all-four positions

Body:

I just started with whole woman exercises and am having a problem. I have one leg, the left one, that doesn't not bend due to several surgeries on the knee. Range of motion in that joint is only about 25 degrees. The exercises seem to require more bend than is possible. What can I do? I have been diagnosed with a bladder prolapse and really do not want to go the surgery route. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks,
High Desert

Do you think the movement range will prevent you from doing plies? Even if it does, I think you will still get benefit from what you can do.

The Wholewoman workout is not absolutely critical for managing prolapse. I am not a great worker outer, and I have been using only the other techniques very successfully for the last six years, so don't lose hope before you start.

Wholewoman is not a workout system where you do the exercises and your prolapse symptoms go away. The workout is a way of increasing whole body strength and flexibility, which is, of course helpful for maintaining Wholewoman posture and developing muscles that are (sometimes ignored in our 21st century developed world lives) needed to use our bodies well for lifting, carrying and everyday tasks and activities. But is not the only way to develop strength and flexibility.

Wholewoman posture, diet that promotes easy bowel emptying, clothing that doesn't compress the abdomen, and learning to use your body in ways that reinforce its original design that keeps pelvic organs in place, are the key elements of Wholewoman techniques. There are many workarounds that you can learn for doing things differently.

Keep calling back.
