Hi Bluesky,
I've just typed in 'coil and prolapse' and 'IUD and prolapse' in the blank question box; top left. There are some posts there which may be of interest.

I'd be interested to hear other people's views on this too.

I don't know any information regarding coil/tubectomy and prolapse, however, in researching other birth control methods for myself that do not involve hormones (I got an IUD 7 months ago and although I've not had specific problems I'd rather not have it in me and wonder if there's any connection with the uterine prolapse several months later), I read A LOT of complaints about the coil or essure. I've read of problems with most any type of birth control, but there are usually some stories in there of people who have had no problems. I did not encounter any of those stories when I was looking into it online.

Bluesky, what do you mean, "all my fault"? It is not your fault that you have cystocele and rectocele!

These conditions happen for many reasons and there are usually several factors involved, as you are now learning.

I think you are being very hard on yourself. Try not to judge yourself unnecessarily. Be a friend to yourself, and give yourself credit for the very hard and rewarding job you are doing looking after your household, your husband and your three little children. You are doing more than a full time job. Make sure you give yourself a pat on the back every night for all the wonderful acts of love you have done every day for your family. I think you need a little TLC. (((Bluesky)))

It will get easier.

I had rectocele in India due to change of diet medication stress, but after coming to uk i went to the nurse / Gp n asked wats wrong with me they dint even take the name rectocele they just said loose ur weight n i did tell my GP that i am planning to go to gym she dint stop me n dint gave me any sujjestions... Any ways i googled n came to know that i had stage 2 rectocele
That day i came from gym had a shower n just layed on my tummy when i got up oh my God it was cystocele + ..... This was my fult of sleeping on my tummy totally my fault...

Bluesky, you didn't get much good advice from your practitioners, but you can't blame yourself for that! And please don't blame sleeping on your tummy. You can pretty much sleep any way that's comfortable when you have prolapse - it's when you're upright that you need to work at posture! Good luck to you!

Hi Bluesky, now I know you are in UK, there is a Wholewoman teacher near London. Go to the top of the page and click on the Whole Woman Teachers Tab. Click through to Lindy's page. Her contact details are there.

It is not my fault. It is not my fault. It is not my fault...
