When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Of course, you should ask
Of course, you should ask your doctor, as each case is different. I am almost 13 weeks pregnant, so my prolapse presented even more of a problem. But my doctor said that sex is perfectly safe, but that I may want to avoid deep penetration (because it may lead to spotting). I know many women on here have perfectly normal sex lives, so don't be too worried :) Read around a bit, there is some awesome info and some really encouraging and helpful women on here. :)

Hi Nan and welcome. Panda is
Hi Nan and welcome. Panda is correct, there are lots of discussion threads on sex if you want to use the search box. Sex can actually be good for prolapse! If you are having discomfort, experiment with different positions, use lots of lubrication, relax and be open about this with your partner.
Also I'd go easy on the Kegels if I were you. Christine's studies have shown that Kegels do more harm that good. Check out the blog for several recent articles.
What it comes down to is posture, which is something you must address all of your waking hours until it becomes habit. Always keep that relaxed-belly stance, with a pulled-up chest to keep the lumbar curvature in place. Protect that curvature when you sit and move. Check out the FAQ's above, where posture is explained and shown in great detail. Good luck to you! - Surviving

Sex
I know for myself that I get a slight burning sensation afterwards, maybe cause I avoid it like the plague and things are just plain tender.
I just don't have a very high sex drive.
Welcome!

Not dead yet
Yes, that is a problem with the development of prolapse, it does have a dampening effect on the libido and our sense of self worth and of course so does aging. For older women like myself it is a double whammy. But sex is possible, with uterine prolapse and can be enjoyable. It won't do damage. I find lying on my back is the most practical, but then my uterus can hang very low. And of course it is important that everything is tucked up correctly. Lubrication as Surviving says is important when older. I know that burning and I think the lube should help it. But you don’t always get the opportunity. Ha ha.

Dear flyingnan63,
I have found that good quality organic coconut oil has many uses & lubrication for sex is one of them. It doesn't sting, is natural & nourishing.
Best wishes

Coconut oil
Hi Aussie Soul Sister, you speak about coconut oil quite frequently what about coconut water is there any benefits to the water?, coconut water is the fluid in the coconut! I have always loved drinking it, so was just wondering if it has any value like the coconut oil.
Now not to change the subject but since using the Aloe juice for my Yeast and I'm assuming the fungal infections I had I think it really dried out my uterus and I now have a sore on the underside of my uterus I looked and saw it after I showered this morning, before this I had bleeding but never looked but one time I felt the area around my cervix and noticed that when I wiped myself the paper would rub against it and caused it to bleed so bleeding isn't something new to me, I also went to the doctor and all he said was "ah just use a pad"
My question is how long can I use the honey? and how often should I use it ? I also noticed if I don't put the honey on the area it sticks to my pad and that's when it bleeds other wise it doen't bleed. Is there something else I can use to heal the sore or will the honey heal it?, I read on the internet where Manuka Honey from New Zealand is good for cuts, has anyone tried it?, I get a little frazzled when my uterus bleeds and it can be really messy.
I always tell my friends if I was asked if I wanted to get old my question would have been a resounding NOOOOOOOOO, I wouldn't mind having my period and not have Menopause Ha! Ha! Ha!
Mahalo and much Aloha,

Manuka Honey
Hi Heavenlyflower, I'm a NZer and can tell you a little bit about manuka honey. 'Active' manuka honey has some special UMF (unique manuka factors) that give it extra anti-bacterial properties of the kind that are not affected by light or moderate heat. I've used it on my skin as a face mask, and on small cuts, burns and infected chillblains (not a problem in Hawaii I imagine!) with a breathable dressing over the top, and in lemon and honey drinks for a sore throat. I put it on the cuts etc twice a day - as it's a bit messy, putting it on just before you go to bed can be a good idea if you don't mind washing your sheets a bit more often! Although there are studies showing active manuka honey aids healing faster than other honeys, I'm not sure the difference would be worth the expense (it's expensive even here in NZ!). I think if you could find a local honey that's unpasteurised/raw it would be just as good, especially if it's made from plants with healing properties (manuka is similar to tea tree and its essential oil has strong anti-bacterial properties too). Good luck, I hope you find some relief!

Heavenly Flower/ coconut oil/milk
Dear Heavenly Flower,
Coconut oil is good for moisturising & lubrication & I eat it - it is probably the next best thing to fresh..., however if I could easily get fresh coconut with the fresh milk inside & the flesh I would eat & drink that as it has protective properties, too many to list in full. Some are that it helps prevent bacterial, viral & fungal ( including yeast) infections.
Eating it & using it as a moisturiser on face & hands & nails, makes my skin ( whole body) softer, it helps with energy, has helped along with Tea Tree Oil to heal an injury under a nail from yrs ago that recently became infected, deforming & lifting up the nail, looking unsightly, & my fingertip skin looked dry & scaly. After a few months it looks normal and the dent under the nail is shorter.
A debilitating itch ( vulval) is much reduced, I noticed it a few mths ago & was trying to work out why as I have spent about 6yrs trying different creams, loo paper etc....
I also clean my teeth with the oil & bicarb soda & I have heard that some people clean their mouths with coconut milk.
I have read & researched & tried the oil for myself, despite hating the taste & smell( love fresh), realising its benefits.
I also love avocado & try not to eat sugar & don't drink alcohol very much.
I am not totally cured, however the health benefits are noticeable.
Hoping this helps,
(((hugs)))

another way that honey heals
One of the properties of honey is that it draws moisture out of wounds, and absorbs it, so it makes sense that the pad doesn't stick to the honey, because the honey just keeps getting more watery.
