When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

I have no experience or knowledge to add; I just wanted to say I'm so glad you have an answer. I hope now the problem can be resolved without more pain or injury. Wishing you the best.

Thank You, Bebe
It seems to make sense too. According to 'google', when the urologist does his/her test, he/she gives a local anesthetic and removes the 'stone' right then.
Hopefully it won't do anything to mess up my 'slightly prolapsed' bladder.

Hey, glad, you've got an answer. And perhaps you don't need the urogyn to remove this stone. I only know from stones in kidneys that they can be treated with some ultrasound waves or something like that (sorry, I don't know exactly) . Then they torn apart and one can pee them out. Perhaps that's a possibility?
Best wishes

I was wondering if there was something that I could do naturally that would dissolve them.
I'm doing further searching on the internet and in some 'natural healing' reference books I have to see what I can find.
Hopefully with the answers that I'm getting, I can prevent the development of more of them

Kidney cleanses
I think there are a number of kidney cleanses on the market.
My husband and I do a Kidney Cleanse from Dr. Shultz. I need to do one again soon, but it always makes me feel better afterwards. And during the cleanse you urinate alot! With that comes out small stones, hopefully the one you have is not too big?

Bladder Stones
can possibly be different from Kidney stones, Rose. I've been checking it out online and in my Encyclopedia of Natural Healing. If it's actually a Bladder Stone, it could be made up of urine that has crystalized by being too long in the bladder.
Hopefully I can find a natural method of dissolving it or at least reducing it so that it can pass through the urethra. Apparently flushing with lemon juice and lots of water could help dissolve and move the stone out.
The doctor says that it is presently 1cm in diameter. I'm hoping that I can flush it out. If it's in the urethra, it is already on its way out. It might be painful, but I'd rather do that than subject myself to doctors and their instruments.

bladder stones
I didn't know bladder stones and kidney stones were different? I guess I never did any research into it.
I do know you pass your kidney stones through your urine, and for many they say it is more painful than childbirth! Hard to believe!
I was trying out a bottle of 'Hemp Seed Oil' to try and dissolve the fibroid I have and I need to get a new bottle, anyway it felt like it was doing positive things for me. I was taking 2T a day, but when I get my new bottle I am going to take 4T a day and see what happens. I will space it out, 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. What I am getting at, is maybe you should take some oil on a spoon each day for awhile, good quality oil, (virgin coconut oil, sesame oil, olive oil) whatever good oil you prefer. I am thinking with the lemon it may be able to assist the stone up and out and not hurt as much when passing it because of the oil.? Just an idea. I think our bodies need more good quality oils especially as we age.

Bladder Stones/Kidney Stones
I didn't know the difference either until I 'googled it'
Thanks for the tip about oil. Maybe it would help. I actually think that the stone must already be moving if it's in the urethra .. already out of the bladder.
I have olive oil on hand .... so maybe as well as trying the lemon-in-water, I'll try the oil. I'd like to get this moving (even if it hurts) rather than depend on doctors and their instruments of torture **shudder**

It May be My Imagination, but
I almost feel like that stone is moving!!! Hubby suggested that perhaps I should take a mixture of lemon juice and olive oil in the morning -- and then quickly wash away the taste with lemon&water -- to see if the stone will slide out.
The doctor has not identified what type of stone it is -- he thinks it is made up of calcium -- so I will continue to try dissolving it with lemon juice and sliding it along with oil **chuckle**
If I do manage to 'slide it out' myself, I'll try to catch it and take it in for proper analysis.

That's great, visualization is also very good and I believe in 'palm healing' where you hold your hand over the part of your body that is having a problem and send healing rays through your hands.
If one night of the oil and lemon don't quite do it then I suggest you continue.
My husband just picked me up some more 'hemp seed oil' from the health food store, and since I have been taking 2T a day, I could tell my body was really missing it. I am going to take 4T a day now and see what happens.

Thank you, Rose
I have used the oil & lemon now for two mornings. I plan to keep doing it until I see some results.
I'm glad the hemp seed oil is working for you. I keep putting hemp seed in my morning smoothie too.

Follow-up On Bladder/Kidney Stone
I don't know what's happening inside yet. The stone has not come out -- that I know. I don't seem to have the same pain that I did, but sometimes the pain just comes and goes. If the pain doesn't return, perhaps I can assume that I've melted away the minerals that made up the stone??
Now that I KNOW there's a stone there, other things start to make sense. When I first talked with my doctor about my constant UTIs, he had a urine sample done and put me on a week's dose of antibiotics. A month or so later, the bladder infection came back, and he put me on a week's dose of a different antibiotic. As I finished this second dose of antibiotics, I started feeling like something had fallen and was experiencing pain (no longer burning) when I urinated. This is when the Dr said, "I think your bladder has dropped slightly." Looking up 'dropped bladder' on the internet brought me to Christine's site.
Now that the ultrasound has discovered a stone in the urethra, I'm beginning to think that the stone was the source of the pain when urinating. If it's a 'bladder stone', I might hope to 'melt' it with the lemon juice & water: if it's a kidney stone, perhaps I can 'move' it with the combo of lemon juice and olive oil.
This is what I'm hoping anyway.
I'll keep you all updated
:-)

I think I may have passed the stone
Last Sunday I was experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort when I was sitting/standing. My legs were aching and I couldn't seem to get comfortable.
I was passing blood (wasn't sure if it was my period or not), and I felt like something was 'falling out'. Finally I inserted a tampon to try to minimize the pain. It was ok for about 20 minutes and then I felt like I had to remove it.
Sitting on the toilet, in pain, I began to think that I would have to go to emerge. But suddenly something passed through -- fell into the toilet -- and my pain was gone except for feeling like I had been scratched internally.
I looked in the toilet and saw a small clot-like object in the bottom of the bowl. Having forgotten by this time (it's been 7 months since I thought about passing the stone) that I had planned to capture the stone for analysis, I flushed the toilet.
I have so much more energy the last couple of days and I have had no pain since Sunday evening.

Hypercalciuria
Hi W2K,
I read with interest this thread. To give you some history, my mother had bladder stones. Pretty much from the time that I was a teenager, I remember her having overactive bladder. Those words weren't used in the 70s. Fast forward to the time that I was menopausal, and due to dexa scans my Primary Care Physician diagnosed that I had osteopenia, and I was referred to an endocrinologist. The endocrinologist, who specializes in osteoporosis, did a 24 hour calcium test on me, which indicated that I have idiopathic hypercalciuria. All I take for it is 50MEQs of potassium daily. I wish I had known that I had hypercalciuria years ago, especially before I ever got pregnant or was nursing children. My mother died years ago, but I have a suspicion that she might have had hypercaliuria, also. I am turning into my mother in terms of my urinary habits and osteopenia. My mother did not have very good medical care because she lived in a small town, but I'm trying to avoid the pitfalls that she had to face.

Just to back up a bit and fill you in
on what has been happening since I last posted back in September. As I had mentioned in one of last year's posts, my sister was dying of cancer in Oct/Nov 2013.
Last Summer I changed some of my eating habits and adapted WW posture & breathing. I lost about 20 lbs and was feeling much better by November. With the necessary travel etc because of the funeral and because of the busy Christmas season, I slacked off a bit and regained 15 lbs :(
However, I have not had another bladder infection!!
My research had indicated that there were certain things I should eliminate from my diet and other healthy things that I should include in my diet and I believe that some of these changes have probably cleared up my bladder problems.
