37 and prolapsed:o(

Body:

My first son was born 4 years ago, after a few months I noticed a buldge and I could see my cervix peeking out! After calling every girlfriend I have, no one had experienced this. There are times that it is 'better'. Pilates, I felt, helped.

Just gave birth to my second son, 3 months ago and it's backkkkk! For the record I got pregnant via IUI and during pregnancy everything went back up and I had no symptoms. Labor was alot easier this time and I pushed baby out in less that 10 minutes. So for anyone wondering, can you get pregnant, will I be able to deliver vaginally, YES!

So, now what? I am SO THANKFUL to have found this forum!!! NO ONE TELLS YOU THIS! Thank you for giving me hope. I do not want surgery.

Hi AAzmamma, welcome and congrats on the newest babe. I believe it is the experience of many, that post-partum prolapse has a tendency to resolve on its own. It did for me, after both my babies, which were born when I was 38 and 41. But it will be back - mine waited until after menopause....wish I knew then, what I know now.

Whether or not your Pilates helped you, we won't know. If you have been reading around this site and forum, you are aware that traditional Pilates and yoga have lots of moves which are really really bad for female pelvic organ support. So I'm glad you're here, and glad that you are pursuing the posture correction during that very optimal PP period when your organs are asking you what to do! Help them find their way back to where they belong. - Surviving
