bladder prolapse

Body:

I was so hopeful about my bladder prolapse after coming across this site then I read about how to fix the problem and suddenly I lost hope when I came across the sentence..."Fortunately, if you have been able to avoid pelvic surgery, such as hysterectomy and other “fixes”, you have every likelihood of restoring your proper organ placement by developing natural female posture." Does this mean I just have to live with this or is there anything i can do to help my situation? Please help

I forgot to add I had a complete hysterectomy in March 2011

Hi WOW and welcome to Whole Woman. We have several post-hyst members who are working this program with good results. You need this posture as much as the women who still have a uterus, because you need to do whatever possible to keep the remaining organs forward and out of the vaginal space. Working to restore lumbar curvature will help you do this and will increase your hip stability and health for the rest of your life. Better to work on this, than to do nothing, because none of us can afford to do nothing! Give it a try, keep reading around the site, and bring us your questions. - Surviving

Thanks so much. I have been on an emotional roller coaster for the past 3 years. I have had thoughts that scare me. I am so glad I found this sight. I don't feel so alone in my struggle. :)
