Bladder / pelvic pain

Body:

HI all,
I'm a slightly disappeared WWer who found Christine's work 8 years ago. i haven't been around on here, but WW is always in my heart and most of the time in my posture as are the great women here!

A question--I haven't seen the latest DVD's. I'm dealing with a major flare up of Interstitial Cystitis like symptoms, and pelvic pain for lots of reasons. addressing them through a wonderful physio (who is super open to WW posture, even sending people here!), tons of stretching, major diet restrictions, supplements, osteopathy, etc etc, and it's really helping.
but it means i can't do the WW stuff as anything that jiggles my bladder inflames it (so no fire breathing, pelvic circles, etc). having had lots of digestive issues that started last summer, my PoP are a bit less predictable and I want to give them a bit more attention now that my bladder is starting to calm down. but it is still too tender to do anything major...

Can anyone recommend which DVD's are really really really gentle, but might help refresh posture / prolapse work? i'm wondering about the hips one? any recommendations very very welcomed!

thanks so much,
Kiki

Hi Kiki - I'm glad to hear that things are starting to turn around for you. Right off the top of my head, I'd say yes, Hips would be a great choice. Goddess Belly has plenty of stuff that would be great without jiggling things around too much, and you would love hearing more about Christine's personal journey. Yoga first and second wheel - challenging but smooth and controlled. Even just the floor and standing portions of FAFP, skipping the dance moves. There is always Elders if you really need to ease slowly into things. And of course, simply observing posture all day long, and good mindful posture walks, would be more than enough if you are going through a touchy spell with your bladder. I'm going through some things right now that make it hard and a little painful to exercise much, but posture is a constant and something I am so thankful that I have ingrained into my life. Good luck with all this and I hope you're seeing light at the end of the tunnel - Surviving

will look into the Belly one...had forgotten about that one! i'm trying to be very mindful of my posture, i just miss doing things like fire breathing and pelvic circles / rocks... but gentle gentle
thanks!
