When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Recetocele Problems
Hi! Lady 21. I am new to the site. But also have a rectocele (mild) I think it is normal to feel stool when pressing the posterior vaginal wall. To aid you doing this I would recommend using a water based lubricant or what I use is coconut oil. I would suggest trying this when you are not on the toilet also to just get familiar with feeling and also feeling what is your normal when stool is not present. I would only push to what is comfortable. If it is painful I would stop. When I have splinted I have pushed what I feel is pretty hard. I also have had a 10lb vaginal birth. I have IBS also. It makes it hard when you feel like you still are left with stool after you go. I hope this helps in anyway. The intro videos I watched also are helping. The WW and toileting. Learning the proper posture and position in the bathroom actually is helpful. Well wishes

Hi Lady21 and welcome,
Hi Lady21 and welcome,
You are pretty young, but if you have been straining on the toilet and using improper posture, you could very well develop prolapse.
The best thing you can do to help alleviate these symptoms is through the whole woman posture. With the posture and proper breathing, you will be pulling your pelvic organs and your rectum toward your lower belly. This helps put the rectum in better positioning so you don't have to suffer with that pouch that bulges into the vagina.
Have a good look around this site, and come back with any questions you have about this very important work.

Thank you ladies for replying
Thank you ladies for replying so quickly , it's an awkward and new thing for me. I use a stool to put my feet on when I go to the toilet and that make going to the toilet easier and I usually have my elbows on the top of my knees so my back is bent? How is this posture ? I was trying splinting yesterday ( thanks for giving this thing a name for me ) and I could feel something in the way in my vagina and it was kinda sore when I tried to move around it so not sure if that was the stool pushing down quite far that it impacted on the vagina or cervix I don't know? I try to relax as much as I can as it makes it easier but still only manage one finger or my thumb . I figured I could press back pretty hard considering what that area goes through for child birth!!

Hi Lady21,
Hi Lady21,
You will find in the long run that propping you feet on a stool will not improve your prolapse symptoms. Christine has developed a much better toileting stance that you should try which you will find in her work.
Posture is what this site is all about. It is what this forum was created for, to help women learn about this very important work. Please look around the site aside from the forum to learn more.

Thanks for the reply aging gracefully
Where on this site can I find this info ? Had a bit of a look but not sure where to start?
I saw somewhere that squatting on the toilet if your able is beneficial , granted that takes quite a bit of positioning as well.

If you just want the basics
If you just want the basics of posture and proper toileting, you can find that here:
https://www.wholewomanstore.com/Whole-Woman-Fundamentals--Posture-and-To...
For more in-depth understanding of this work, you will find many options in the whole woman store. Many of us started with the Saving the Whole Woman book and First Aid for Prolapse DVD, but like I said many other options can be found that best suit you.
