When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

risks
Hi 9oxford,
I was asked this a few days ago and here is how I responded:
Regarding the risks of living with prolapse, I have not heard of one case of infection here at wholewoman, on other forums, from the thousands of women I've spoken with over the years, nor in the medical literature. Anything can happen, but infection would be very unusual. I think excoriation and blunt injury would be greater risks. If a woman just cannot raise her prolapse inside her vagina, external support garments would certainly be indicated.
This quote didn't make it into my book, but I found it quite interesting:
"While CA (cancer) may develop, the relative immunity of the prolapsed cervix to malignant disease has long been remarked. The reason for this is not clear, though various hypotheses have been suggested. Smith, Graves, and Pemberton, for example, suggest that the dryness of the tissue and the freedom from irritation by vaginal secretions may be the important factors."

The above text is on the medical library shelves at the University of New Mexico.
All that having been said, I avoid hot tubs and swimming pools. I’ve spent hours in cleans lakes and oceans with no ill affects.

Swimming, hot tubs etc.
Hi 9oxford
There was also a string on the Forum starting 26 February 2006, about just this topic. Plug "bathing with uterine prolapse" into the Search box on the left and you will pick it up.
Cheers
