supplelments that help

Body:

I have been working with a website organic madness that does a nutritional
evaluation and then they recommend the top products that you should use by Standard Process(a chiropractic line of supplements) I asked about the prolapsed uterus and they recommended 9 Ligaplex II (for strengthening ligaments) and also Utrophin (uterus glandular) 3 of those a day. They seem to help keep things from progressing and have helped make my pelvic floor even stronger when I am being careful with my diet etc.

I just visited an ob/gyn about a pessary and the fit was so snug that I
could not get it out. It felt comfortable inside, but he was the only
one who could remove it. Is there a trick or should they fit that tight?
I am wanting to try the sea sponge but would like more information on
how well it works? I want to take care of things before I start teaching
in August.

Numbers4u,

The "trick" to removing the pessary will depend on the type. It should fit snugly and many types are very difficult to remove - often requiring a doctor's or nurse's help. I use a donut pessary which fits snugly, but I am able to remove it fairly easily on my own. If that is the type you have, try removing it while seated on the toilet: leaning forward, reach up with index or middle finger, putting your finger through the central hole and looping it around the pessary - now bearing down GENTLY, pull downward, and with luck it should slide right out. There will probably be some pressure/discomfort for a second or two as it comes out. Oh - try to relax while doing this -if your are tense, it will make it much more difficult.

Good luck!
J.

Thank-you for the advice! I don't think mine was the doughnut
(I assume it is called that because it looks like one?) Mine
also had a whole in the middle, but it was almost an oval shape,
it looked like it would be the most comfortable, but it did
fit very snug. Is the doughnut shape an easier one to use?
