When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

Man, I am glad you got it! It was just like that for me. I could not figure it out at all at first. I wondered if I didn't have any muscles there anymore. Then, out of nowhere, it happened and surprised me!
Congratulations. I hope it gives you the effect it gives me and alemama. I am excited for you! Alemama told me that at first she would do it and her c-cele would stay up for a little while, then later when she did it it would stay up an even longer time, until finally it just stopped coming down at all.
Very good stuff.

Hmmmm.....
Hey girls, when I do it my belly comes forward and in on the sides, but it has a vertical indention at my belly button. Does this sound right? I thought it was because of my flab. I think my belly is much older than your young ones. :-)
Great news, G’mom. That is so very cool.

Wonderful!!!
Oh WOW -Congratulations Gmom! I am SO thrilled for you!!! How uplifting that has to be, both for your spirits and your prolapse! How very cool for you!!! ~ : D
I have to admit, I do envy your abilities. I am missing out on something big here, failing to be able to master this prolapse-raising exercise. I don't know, but maybe in my case it is due to being too old (nearly 24 years postpartum ;) and/or too flabby-abbed. Perhaps, though, once I shake this stubborn cold, I just might take another shot at catching a Nauli breath, just in case I'm not too far gone after all. It sounds like a piece of heaven I could use.
Enjoy!
Breathe and be good

can you overdo nauli?
my low back's been acting up since I started nauli
admittedly, I am so enjoying it that I'm sucking it up every chance I get. its kind of addictive. especially now that I can see progress, not so much with the prolapse, but my abs.
should I ease up on it? or am I doing it wrong? or is it coincidence?
I love the definition I'm getting though. haven't seen that since before my first pg.

Can we start lessons over?
Ladies doing Nauli,
I'd love to be able to do this, but can't seem to get the hang of it. I've watched the videos, but seem to be missing something. What was your breakthrough, GMom? Can you walk Blue and me through this again?

my nauli breakthrough
disclaimer: I have no idea if I am actually doing this correctly
I found one of the video's most helpful, don't remember which, will try to go back and see
but it occured to me to do some firebreathing first, then stay in a firebreathing position, exhale while rounding out my back and then inhale without letting any air in (??clear as mud??).
On that video I was able to see what was confusing me. I initially wasn't able to figure out what the abdominal muscles were doing. but then I realized that the abdominal contraction doesn't bulk the muscle at first, like a sit up would. instead, what I am doing is allowing the abdominal muscles to hug the curve of the spine so it looks like this CC (a sit up would look like Cl with the C being the spine and the l being the abdominal wall). when you do that, you can feel all the free space in the abdomen disappear, its really like sucking the air out of a playground ball.
and the amazing thing is that when you do that, you can feel the vagina flatten completely and the cervix pulling up.
once I got that I was able to start playing with the obliques and doing that fancy one side then the other contraction thing. still working on that though.
hope this was somewhat helpful.
also, alemama, if I'm doing it all wrong, please let me know!

sounds perfect
I am so excited for you granolamom.
Judy. Just keep trying. My husband gets one on one coaching and he still hasn't figured it out. It is very specific muscle control. much like learning to raise only one eyebrow or wiggle your ears- only bigger.
