Self exam question

Body:

Hey, Ladies,

It is me again, maybe I spend too much time here but still figuring out what is going on with me. Please, forgive me if I am too annoying, lol.

So, I just read the prolapse self exam and try to understand something. I feel the bulge on the front wall but I don't feel the bladder behind it. If I bear down, nothing happens if I lay down, or stand up with my fingers touching the wall, nothing happens, the wall is not bulgier or less bulgier, not firmer, not laxer. It is just there, bulgy a bit, but that is it. If I strain (carefully) or cough one or two, I can feel the wall protruding a little bit more against my fingers, but it goes right back if I stop the cough/strain. My cervix and posterior vaginal wall doesn't move at all if I strain/cough.

What does this mean? Where is my bladder???

Liv

It was my poor english! Need to check in the Med Vocabulary what bearing down means. Now I know, so I just said hello to my cystocele! lol

Thanks for your patience, I will try not to be annoying here!
