When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

I do! Not sure if it's
I do! Not sure if it's because the ovary swells and is close to the sigmoid colon or not. For me, it feel like my whole abdomen is spasming, and it usually makes me become constipated. I've been putting off going to get my annual obgyn check up. But, maybe it could be some kind of cyst or something.

If it's any help....
Hi not sure if I will be any help but here's my experience from a few years ago.Btw I am now post meno :-). Anyway I use to get ovulation pains ie achey side and then I started to get bad gripey pains after I went to bed around 10pm then.My doctor sent me for ultrasound and the scan technician said I had 2 fibroids , one quite big, and were surprised I wasn't having heavier periods, although they were not light by any means!
Went back to my doctor and here is where I am a bit hazy, I think he said wait and see and we could take it further if they continue.
For some reason I cannot now remember ( it could have been my inner knowing lol) I cut down fatty & spicy foods, ie ate a plainer healthier diet. The pains reduced and eventually stopped bothering me.My life was quite stressful at that time and I wonder if that contributed.
I had been living in Asia with my family, for some of the those years eating spicier foods too. Came back home and slowly food got plainer again. I then started losing weight , approx 11-12 kgs. On the next visit to my doctor(not the same as one who sent me for ultrsound, both nice tho) I asked him if I still had fibroids, he said not one sign of any and he felt inside and out and said because of my leaness(then lol not now) he would be able to feel any easy as.I find as I get older I need to be more careful with my diet and exercise.Listen to my body.
This may not be any help to either of you ladies, but its worth a try. Diet and stress. My outlet for stress is to exercise-that has changed over the years from gym work, aerobics, stretch classes (while in Asia) ,walking, a little yoga here and there and now dancing.
Hope you both find some releif soon.xx

Ovulation issues
I don't know if it is connected to POP, or for me if it is a perimenopause issue (I am 48, still get periods regularly but the hormones are getting a bit whacky). Some months (coincidentally right now this month! :-) at ovulation I get tons of swelling of my pelvic tissues, most noticeably for me in my rectal area. My bum (around the anus) get very puffy and its like hemmorhoids but it isn't just like hemmorhoids. It makes me feel like there is something in there all the time and there is a constant pressure. Really annoying. Also, it is harder to have a BM, even though I am not constipated, because everything is quite swollen. I am pretty sure it is a hormonal imbalance that causes all this inflammation. My POP doesn't help here, my cervix is quite low and pokes into my back vaginal wall. I feel it even more when everything is swollen up. And sometimes I get bad cramps for a day or so at ovulation too, on either the right or left side so I assume it is an ovary attempting to release an egg.
I had been having success with the red clover tea. I sort of fell off the red clover tea wagon this past while (ran out of it and didn't get around to the store where I get it), and regret it now! I think generally it helps to balance my hormones so I don't get so much of this pelvic inflammation. I know my POP feels a lot better when the swelling isn't there.

Hi!
Thanks for the comments. Sometimes I get so scared I have ovarian cancer or something awful!! I hate all this. It's just so exhausting.

Hi back!
Yeah, I know all about those thoughts! Last year my doctor sent me for a pelvic ultrasound in order to rule out anything "sinister" when I started having all this inflammation and swelling. My ovaries were deemed unexceptional, and they still showed eggs in them, so I think they are still feebly attempting to pop out eggs. Because I started having night sweats about the same time as all this, my doctor believes it is my hormones going on the perimenopausal roller coaster. Some months I don't notice anything. It is unpredictable.
It doesn't hurt to rule out the other possibilities. Ovarian cancer especially is so sneaky and presents with symptoms that are so easy to blame on other things. Never hurts to make sure. Then your mind can be at rest about that at least.
