pregnancy AFTER prolapse?

Body:

I'm just looking to hear experiences, has anyone had pregnancies after a prolapse? I have cystocele rectocele and uterine. My second pregnancy I had contractions on and off the entire pregnancy from 12 weeks on ("false" or prodromal labor for 3 weeks at the end) so I don't know if there is an increased risk of preterm birth or miscarriage? If you did have another birth, did your prolapse worsen?

Heck yes. Track posts by me, alemama, granolamom, cararosesmum, lovemyboys, fullofgrace, and others in the pregnancy forum. Prolapse should not cause miscarriage or preterm birth. I for one am waaaayyyy better off POP-wise having been pregnant and birthed again (want to do it again too!). However, I took a good two years to really work on posture, Nauli, and general health before getting pregnant again. I also home birthed and had a plan to maximize healing in the immediate pp time. Give yourself time to get your POP to a baseline you are comfortable with, then go for it!

thank you! when you say you are better off, your prolapse actually improved?? I have heard this is theoretically possible for uterine but not the other types.

it's the hub of the wheel!
