When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Rubbing
Yes I think it is from the rubbing. Yes on certain days I have it too, mostly pink and yes a light tan. Not much, but it is noticeable on a white panty liner. Those certain days there is a bit of soreness and the cervix has been peeking out a bit more rigidly than usual which means for me I haven’t used my bowels for a few days, which in turn usually means I have not been home for a few days. It also means I urinate more frequently which increases the soreness.
I do exercises to really release the tension down there.
I lay down on my back and rub the center of my stomach just above the pubic bone. You should notice the mild soreness eases.
I raise my legs up so that they are at right angles to my hips and hold them there for a few minutes. You can start from a bent knee position. You don’t have to raise them from the full horizontal along the floor position. The main thing is to get them up there.) Feel the stretch at the backs of your thighs and stomach.
Lower your legs to a bent sitting position. (You are still on your back.) Let your knees fall gently apart. This should gently stretch your groin area.
Roll over onto your stomach and allow your bent legs to come up as far over your derriere as you can. Hold for a minute and relax. Repeat a few times.
Another one I do is to stand up, then bend at the hips and touch the floor with my hands about three feet in front of me so that my body forms a square (with slightly slanting back) and the backs of my legs, bum and the groin area are stretched. I call it the spider. I rest on the flat of my feet and the tips of my fingers and thumbs and then jiggle my derriere up and down, even to the extent of many small two footed jumps. The vulva flaps. (This is done with the cervix tucked inside as much as possible.) Usually the cervix will recede further above the vaginal canal. Sometimes this may result in air being sucked into the vagina and then you can assert just a very slight bearing down pressure to release it.
If it is impossible to lie down, a rocking motion from left to right and back whilst seated using your derriere as the dimension of the rocking can also help.
Relaxation is the key and relaxation to the full web of muscles around that area is best.
The WWposture itself of course gives you a real stretch to the abdomen, back, lumber curve and rib cage area, but I find on these certain days that yoga positions such as the warrior (virabhadrasana) poses give that stretch an extra dimension and uses a somewhat slightly different pull on the back muscles.
These exercises release the tension for me, and of course a suitable lubricant can help. For me I really need ultimately to get back to my regular bowel movement as soon as I can.
Would love to hear your and anyone else’s ideas on the subject.

Vitamin E Oil
I don't know if anyone else here uses vitamin E Oil. I bought it for dry skin, which I get from cold winters here in the Northeast.. However, the vitamin E oil that I bought is pure enough to swollow and is recommended as a suppliment, 5 drops a day. I stopped using replens quite a while ago as a vaginal lubricant. I found replens so irritating that I filed a lengthy complaint with the FDA. Amazingly they acknowledged and are presently investigating. I am not too confident that anything will come of it but at least I got my 2 cents in... Back to Vitamin E oil I started using it on my cervix and as a vaginal lubricant.
I found it as good as honey and it seems to be more healing. After using it for a greater length of time I will be better able to evaluate its use. I only use a couple of drops at the most. I was wondering has anyone else used Vitamin E Oil?

Vit E oil
Hi,
THanks for responding. I will try it...if I was brave enough to try honey, I wouldn't hesitate for vitamin E.

Vit E oil / honey
I have in the past used a product called Noz-oil, which is for keeping the lining of your nose moist. It has vitamin E. A closer look reveals that it *is* sesame oil. Now, there is sesame oil and sesame oil. It doesn't smell like sesame oil you use in Asian cooking, which is quite dark and burnt tasting. I figure if it is a food, and there is a product you can spray up your nose, then it ain't gonna do any harm up your vagina.
The reason for honey, is that it turns into glycogen in the vagina, and good bacteria love glycogen. If your good bacteria are thriving they can keep your vagina slightly acidic, which will in turn support the good bacteria which like an acidic environment. I am not sure about the way in which oestrogen supports vaginal pH pre-menopause, but during the menopause continuum the vagina becomes more alkaline, which predisposes the vagina to irritation.
Putting honey in your vagina is feeding the good bacteria, kind of like feeding a ginger beer plant. Raspberry jam will not.

Pregunta
Louise: Thanks for the info. So doesn't the bad backteria also like the glucose? That's the worry I had.

I have wondered about this, and am not sure about this, Discouraged. I think there is a post by Christine on her Blog, the Village Post, maybe under Lichen Sclerosus? I don't have time to look right now, but will take it up a bit later. I should know this, but I don't.
I guess the proof is in the pudding. Try it and see.

D Mannose
I have tried honey for about a week now; around the cervix mostly, it turns into a liquid and nearly disappears but after about five minutes a put a warm set washcloth on y prolapse and remove the stickiness. Lots of times I just leave it there, holding it together with my legs, while I wash my face, etc. Then before getting into bed rub KY's SilkE into the prolapse and place it back inside. Silk E is mostly vitamin E and Aloe.
At the same time, trying to avoid the dreaded UTI which I have espectially strong reactions to, I take D Mannose. Suggested on this site, it is supposed to keep bacteria from sticking to the Bladder. Sounds like a fairy tale but it cannot hurt.

UTIs
are dreadful. I had one bout of it some years ago and I had three or four courses of antibiotic before it cleared. At the time I was a carer and I had a strong feeling that it was the type of thing that you caught.
What are your thoughts on that? I know at one nursing home it seemed to be going around like a bout of gastro enteritis.

My bad flight
I live on an island and was flown off to a hospital for treatment for a UTI since it had not responded to the typical meds and seemed to be getting worse - I had vomiting and a fever. At the hospital I was given an IV of what they called severely strong antibiotics for two nights before they let me go. They were waiting for a culture of the bacteria to make sure they had "caught it" so they used the strongest stuff. Yikes. I don't want that to happen again. So, I'm going to discuss with my MD. Maybe a should be tested regularly to see if I have a low grade infection, I don't know. I have to think that it had been lurking around to come on so strong and make me so sick. However, I'm fine now. I carry in my purse the name of the medication I will need immediately by IV or a shot should an infection recur.

Bad UTI
Oh dear, that sounds so unpleasant but I'm glad you are feeling better. Please take lots and lots and lots and lots of extra care with emptying your bladder. On hands and knees if you need to; the shower is great for this. Probiotics to restore the good bugs, now that the bad bugs have been knocked out of you. I hope it doesn't come to this extreme again any time soon! - Surviving

Surviving is right.
Efficient bladder emptying is the way to keep UTI's away. Squat, empty, stand, squat, empty, stand, works well too. It is amazing how much more you can get out, especially after overnight, when urine is in your bladder for a long time, and concentrates. The bladder is often very full first thing in the morning, so I don't think it contracts right down, as well as it does during the day. Drink plenty over the morning, so that you give it a good flush out during waking hours.
Urinary tract infections in nursing homes. Perhaps not changing pads frequently enough? Perhaps hygiene problems with catheterisation? Perhaps not giving residents sufficient liquids? My Mum's nursing home gives the residents coloured cordial instead of water, which makes me cringe, but these ghastly sugary drinks seem to have some magical antibacterial properties. Yes, true. Good for motion sickness too.

I still love my homemade balm :-) and other things
Hi , Im not here often at the moment, just wanted to say that I agree with Louise and Surviving , I do my best to empty my bladder ,bending forward on the loo and sometimes giving a little shake. It does require one not to be in a rush and some patience. AND I am not the most patient in some regards, and I do find I feel a tad embarrassed when out that im in the loo so long, and the sound of a slow trickle..oh dear....what we go through. But I just keep telling myself that I need to empty my bladder properly.
When I here other women say ....why is that one taking so long(about someone else taking awhile), I realise now that they may have their own problems like I/we do here.
As regards chaffing and spotting, I am loathe to change what I do at present as its working for me.I still make a balm ,along the lines of the Bliss Balm Christine use to sell,in small quantities and use it twice a day religiously.Just a dab on a clean middle finger insert as high as you can and swish it around on the way out so that all along gets a bit too. When I wasn't using it the internal rub was horrid. It keeps me very comfortable. It can leave a little residue oil so I use a thin long liner daily.I have thought about material liners as some women use Mama cloths , I think they are called, somethign like that.Where some women make environmentally friendly pads with liners , in colourful prints and plain.
I use coconut oil, beeswax, almond oil mainly and a drop of aroma oil like rose.Put Bliss Balm in the search box and see more detail, of mine and some others recipes. I worked dout mine from watching Christine's red clover making balm video, and someone else on here told what to use.Hope this helps someone :-)

Hurrying
Driving, speeding offenses, rushing to work, or to pick up kids, coffee, hyped up, wanting it all, fast food, running out of time.
Sometimes I think it is better to make do with less, grow to simply want less, go to bed earlier, start earlier, go slower, be the one who is waiting, instead of the one who is hurrying to get there. Use waiting time for meditation.
When you have a pee, pee properly and completely. If complete emptying is the aim, then cut your bladder some slack, relax on the toilet, and go through whatever actions you have to, patiently and deliberately in order to honour the needs of your bladder.
The same goes for emptying your bowels.
Hurry less.
