Fire breathing

Body:

All I can say is Wow! I just got my first aid for prolapse dvd a couple of days ago, although I have been doing some of the exercises before this, and finally found out what fire breathing is!! It is amazing, and I thought jiggling was the best thing so far! The way Christine explains it and demonstrates it was so easy to follow. And, the way it makes me feel, that vacuum aspect is really something! My cervix, which has been resting at the opening of my vagina, has actually stayed up in there for the past 2 days! I know that things can get worse, but I really have hope now. I
I still get the pressure, aching, and burning, but for me not to have that cervix ready to pop out is such a relief, for now. It just makes me want to work more diligently and seriously at this, because truthfully, I was skeptical. I thought this is just some new agey thing. I have been converted! Bring it on!!!

Good for you! I love firebreathing but I was something of a late-comer. I was afraid to try it for the longest time, because when I dabbled at it, I found myself doing the breathing backwards. It took awhile to "get it" but when I did, I immediately incorporated it into each day.

This breathing sequence is so important, and it is the foundation upon which so many of Christine's exercises are built. It is one of the best tools in the tool bag! - Surviving

Hi ageing gracefully,
That's great - I'm so pleased. I also had a uterine prolapse - and it is such a great feeling when the cervix is nicely tucked up behind the pubic bone.

I agree the fire breathing technique is really effective. My personal experience is that the exercises on all of Christine's dvd's work really well for me too. I think they're a wonderful investment in our health.

I find if/when I practice the WW practice regularly I feel so much better. There are times when for all sorts of reasons, (some good some feeble!), I don't practice for a few days - and by day 3 I'm noticing my prolapse symptoms.

1 of the wonderful things about this work is that we have the tools and resources available to improve our symptoms and our lives. That's a great gift - and I thank Christine and all the WW team and women for disseminating this wisdom.

Love and best wishes, xwholewomanuk

Hi ladies,
Thank you for your response. It just seemed so bizarre to me that after something like internal organs slumping down, there was no way of getting them back up there to any degree. And, I haven't even been working that hard at it, and I am older!! I was seeing improvement before the DVD, and then after, even greater! I know I still have a long way to go, and have to be mindful of what I do from now on. I feel so encouraged now.
The thing I love the most is how candid you ladies are on this forum. I have gotten more information here than from any other sites I have looked at. On many subjects, as well as the pop!!
Thanks to you all!!!

I can't wait to get my dvd (the book is on back order).

Same here, Mika, but I did get the first aid to prolapse DVD, and it has been very enlightening, and helpful. I just ordered the yoga first wheel, and I know I will be getting the rest of them to add variety in my work outs.
We will get there!!!
