When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

I would say at this point
I would say at this point that you should start reading around on this site by starting at the tool bar at the top. Christine's work has a different view of pelvic organ support from what you are probably learning from PT. Whole woman posture is what helps support our pelvic organs up and over our pubic bone into our lower bellies.
Christine's work is eye opening, and has helped so many of us in so many ways.

Gyrotonics
I had to look this one up. I have never seen anything like that before! I guess the only thing I can say is that like with any exercise or activity, if you can do it in whole woman posture, then it is fine... Maybe someone else will come along with a different view or more experience with this.

Hi Coreseeker - I hope that you will look into the Whole Woman posture work, especially if you are currently managing your prolapse with the use of sponges and kegel exercises. There is so much more you could be doing, things that would be more effective over time, that would not only enable you to stabilize your prolapse, but will have long-term implications for your spine and hip health. I checked out some YouTube footage of the machine you mentioned and all I can say is, I wouldn't go there unless you have studied and learned the posture principles and can therefore judge properly what's good and bad for prolapse. It's just a big old machine so maybe you can be a bit more specific on how you use it for prolapse.
Here are a couple of Christine's blog articles explaining why kegels are ineffective and can actually aggravate prolapse by pulling the organs in the wrong direction:

And here's a clip from her First Aid for Prolapse dvd:

You mention Christine's book but I'm not getting the impression that you have read it or that you are familiar with her body of work. Plenty to read and check out on this website, blog and forum. - Surviving
