labiaplasty documentary!

Hi All,

I've just been able to watch about 10 minutes of this and won't be able to watch the rest until tomorrow, but it looks very well done and is such a timely subject! (Click here)

Christine

Long standing member reporting in

Hello all,
It has been a while. I have been a member here for one year and seven months.
I would like to share that I am doing very well keeping cystocele and rectocele in check!!
Thank you all for your posts, for sharing intimate issues that are common to many of us going through these changes!!
I have been able to maintain my gluten and dairy free diet. It has helped me eliminate problems with constipation, and has helped me maintain my weight!!I have know for years that dairy was a problem and I ignored it.

Mmmmmooooo poo?

Has anyone any thoughts on this technique for going to the loo? There's an online video (can't remember by who) showing a lumbar curve in place while you lean forward onto your thighs and first make the sound "mmmmm" to relax your lower stomach and then "ooooo" to exert a gentle downward pressure when you feel the urge to go. It's helping me with more complete emptying and I thought I'd share. Not sure it'd be a winner in a public toilet but these days with most of my dignity in tatters I'm beginning to care less and less about such petty concerns and more about my own comfort!

Goddess belly question

Forum:

In the exercise portion of the goddess video, Christine says to raise the outer tips of your eyebrows and roll your tongue to the top of your mouth. Does this mean the tongue is flat against the roof of your mouth or the tip of tongue is touching the roof of your mouth…or something totally different? Can someone let me know? Thanks so much.

Hello Ladies

I haven't been too good lately as I tripped over and hurt my left side. It's slowly getting better. I have loose bowel motions and then harder ones. I do exercises I find in Saving the Whole Woman and they helped me last night. I too wear panty liners sometimes as I feel more confident then. It certainly helps as I love to walk. I miss dancing. I used to like to dance years ago and still do on my own sometimes. I'm crazy but I like music. I won't put anymore flyers in as I don't like to interfere with this site.

Carrying my baby

Hi, everyone!

I posted my concern a couple of months ago. Quick summary, I got a serious tear that has been left unrepaired. Tore through my sphincter, no incontinence problems so far at 6 months postpartum. Tear has improved since birth, but have too little perineum left. Have been so afraid I might get a prolapse because of tear so have been trying my best to adapt the WW posture for 3 months now.

Can lumbar curve lead to back pain?

Hi! I just have a question. After adopting the Whole Woman posture on a consistent basis, I'm experiencing back pain. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm wondering if there is such a thing as "too much of a lumbar curve." As background, I have not had surgery, but have prolapse. I had an individual session with Christine, which was most informative and also purchased and read her book and have been doing some of the exercises.

Any helpful information to help me understand what I may be doing wrong will be greatly appreciated!

hope for post partum uterine prolapse?

Hello,
I am so grateful that I found the Whole Woman forum and prolapse information. That said, I am four and a half months post partum, exclusively breast feeding and have a uterine prolapse - second degree or moderate and I am really mystified by this and would really appreciate any advise and/or commentary from anyone who is or has gone through something similar.

Saying I am doing well

After very stupidly saying how well I am doing it's come back to bite me. I need some help please, I will save up to buy goddess DVD and it seems I need the hips one as well but because I live in the UK the postage is very high.

Some Women Don't Have The Internet

Some women don't have the internet. That's why we need more information in brochures out there to let them know what prolapse is all about. I didn't have the internet for years and I thought I was alone with this strange illness. Well it's not strange to me now as I can read about it here. There are some who cannot and hide inside. It's sad.
