stupid question

Hey Ladies,

A little gem from a CWA recipe book

I am sure you all have an organisation like the Country Women's Association, (known as CWA) in your country. They are known for diplomacy and political activism via tea and very good scones. I have just been looking through a little recipe book published a few years ago by my old CWA Branch, and came across a little thought-provoker that all women could relate to.

"If swimming is so good for the figure, how do you account for ducks?"

Rectocele and Cystocele Pregnancy??

So I'm turing 26 soon, have 2 children and I was wondering how pregnancy after developing Rectocele and Cystocele 3rd degree is? You can get pregnant when it's that bad right? Also should you wait after surgery to get pregnant again? Will it polapse again? I want some advice because I still want to have more children. I'm 6 weeks pp currently & am scared of surgery, but don't want it to get worse. I was told I will probably need surgery in 1yr. I'm also wondering if next pregnancy birth will have to be C-section or if I can have vaginal birth?

Questions for Davi

Since you do not have your email contact available I am using the public forum to ask you a few personal questions.

Davi. I wonder if you would be willing to examine your interest in Wholewoman? I have recently looked into your old posts and have not found anything indicating you enjoy visiting the site, you are not interested in practicing the wholewoman techniques and in fact in just a few short weeks you have decided that they don't even work.

Cystocele - Future pregnancy?

I had my first child in March 09. Extremely quick labour and only 45mins pushing. Unfortunately at my 6 wk checkup I had to ask my doctor about a bulge i felt when i walked, he diagnosed me with cystocele.
Now 5mths on, I need to decide if we want another child because my ObGyn said I must decide re repair surgery. I asked if there was anything (Exercises etc) I could do to try and strengthen the pelvic floor and improve it, he said No, just surgery.

New here with rectocele and cystocele. Question about tampon use for cystocele.

Hi all. I am 49 with 2 children, ages almost 12 and 10 (15 months apart). My first child weighed 8 lb. 13 oz, and was a difficult delivery. I pushed for 4 hours, and he was finally delivered via forceps after the vacuum didn't help. I also had a cracked pelvis, and had difficulty walking for about 5 weeks. I had a tear while delivering also. My daughter was born 15 months later, much easier delivery, but had an episiotomy and she weighed 9 lb. 2 oz.

Prolapse in 1943

I just had a thought that made me weep. My grandmother had a prolapse after giving birth to my Dad in 1943. This is why I think it's probably in my genes. But she was told that she could never have any more children - and so never did. My dad had a bit of a miserable childhood and went to boarding school alone etc. But this wasn't true was it? She could have had another baby - especially if she had a mild prolapse like me (I can't ask her now as she's passed on). Horrible patriachal doctors of the past - and sometimes present.

Rectocele - can it cause occasional diarrhoea?

Hi there, you were all so helpful last time I posted, I just thought I'd ask one more question.

Any tips for irritation?

HI all

Just wondering whether anyone has some tips relating to irritation around the vaginal opening and on the vulva assumedly caused by prolapse?

I remember someone mentioned Vitamin E ointment and was wondering whether you use that internally or externally?
