Inversion table

Hi all. I've had a few natural health friends recommend I use an inversion table to help strengthen ligaments. Has anyone ever heard about this being beneficial. A friend is loaning me one - hanging upside down is good for many things - I'm hoping pop is one of them. I'm hangin' in.

Also, I haven't read any posts about chiropractic adjustments. I stopped chiro care some time ago, due to injury, etc. I wonder if anyone has tried it for proplapse.

Thanks for any input.

sinking fast

Hi ladies
i've posted a couple of times in the past week about problems with my rectocele. I'm posting today because I feel like I'm sinking fast, and in more ways than one and I hope someone might be able to throw me some kind of lifeline

Resignation

Going, going, gone!

(long) Update, rectocele and acute lower back pain/wobbliness

Again, please move if this is an inappropriate forum. We could use a "new to this - still trying to find our way!" forum ;-)

I hurtled on to the list 3 weeks ago in the middle of an acute crisis with my rectocele, trouble with emptying but also very acute pelvic pain, lower back pain and wobbliness (the can't reach to wipe yourself or put on your own socks or find a tolerable sitting/standing position level of lower back pain).

Self exam question

Hey, Ladies,

It is me again, maybe I spend too much time here but still figuring out what is going on with me. Please, forgive me if I am too annoying, lol.

Posture

This is my first post and my first day to find this forum. I am so interested to understand what is meant by "correct posture" and "correct way to do kegels." I have been "playing" with some yoga postions in an attempt to fix my rectocele. I have diagnosed myself.

I am 61 and have had a hysterectomy, cystocele and rectocle (I hope I spelled them right!) in 1998. About a month ago I felt something bulging out of my vagina. I went to the gynocologist who said he "felt a lot of stool" and told me I needed a colonscopy and a pelvic ultrasound.

Kegels and tables and balls - oh my!

I went to the physical therapist today to discuss my grade 3 uterine prolapse and mild bladder prolapse. I didn't actually have an exam or do anything physical, and in fact canceled my future appointments. I did spend a good amount of time talking with her, though.

Rectocele and have questions, Help!

Hello! I am new here and am hoping for some answers. I found my rectocele three days ago and have cried every day since. I am a happily married 40 year old who feels like she just lost her life. My rectocele is visible in my vagina, but doesn't seem to be causing many symptoms. I have not had sex since as I'm quite afraid of doing more damage. Can anyone tell me, is it safe to have sex? Does this destroy your sex life forever? What are your limitations physically? Is it still safe to exercise?

Kegek Question

Hey, Ladies,

It is me again with a question. I cannot stop Kegeling, b/c while doing the pelvic floor contractions, I can feel my urethrocele moving up and my front vaginal wall strenghtens and flattens. BUT I tend to "over kegel" and I have muscle fatigue soon which drives me crazy, it feels so uncomfortable, irritated, have to pee again, etc.

Mae's New Grandbaby!
