My surgeon got mad when I asked him about his treatment outcomes

Hi everybody. I am 60 years old and was ready to get mesh surgery.
I also tried several peessaries. To make a long story short I discovered that the surgeon's very experienced nurse did not remove the 2.5 gelhorn properly. She did not do this intentionally just incorrectly!!! I ended up basically getting thrown out of his office because I asked about his treatcome outcomes.

Tweaking exercises for less flexibility? bowel help...

I have had some success so far with the posture, toileting, firebreathing, and pelvic tilts. I noticed that keeping posture while weeding on hands and knees was very protective to my pelvic floor and prolapse (compared to before when I was tucking my tailbone under), although it still tires easily. It seems instinctive to engage my core when pulling weeds and at that time also tuck in my tailbone and kegel... that adds alot of intraabdominal stress to the system I think.

peri tear?

I never went to my gyno with my concerns because I didn't know if she could do anything. But recently I figured out that my problems might actually be from an unrepaired tear. I had medium to large babies and no one told me at the time that there was a tear. They assured me repeatably while pregnant that 'vaginas stretch'. But now I think that I may have a 2nd degree tear that has healed open and is causing issues. I have done so many exercises, and while I no longer have any urinary incontinence I do have a large gaping vagina.

Recteocole problems

Hi
Im a new member from Australia and figured this would be a great place to get some ideas or answers. I'm only 21 and haven't had kids, I also suffer from IBS. My gastrointestinal specialist thinks I may suffer from a recteocole and before we go in and do all the tests to try a few things myself. He said simple pelvic floor exercises which are easy enough but the other is sticking a finger or two up the vagina when I feel like I have to poo and applying posterior pressure. This has been very hard as

Very stressed

I'm new here. I was recently (January) diagnosed with Stage 1 Uterine prolapse. I am so nervous about this and it is keeping me stressed out all the time thinking about it. I watched the video about posture and proper toileting. I have a few things I need to know about posture. I think I understand the posture but am concerned about sitting upright all the time. I feel like it puts stress on my back at times. I am constantly correcting how I sit and feel like I am never going to be able to sit as I did before and feel comfortable.

Suggestions for desk chair

Forum:

I have been reading that we are not supposed to sit on a soft chair when you have a prolapse. Any suggestions for what kind of chair works best that I can use at the office or what I can place on the chair seat that would be suitable?

New member

Hi ladies. I'm sorry for the long post but probably some background information will be helpful as I seek advice.

I am the mother (38 years old) to 8 beautiful children 1 to 14 years of age and just discovered that I have prolapse after the birth of the last.

Bladder Prolapse

I have been diagnosed with a stage 3 cystocele and a stage 1 uterine prolapse. I was slowly making strides improving it but then completely fell apart and feel that I am back at my starting point 4 months ago . The best I felt was when I had a few days off and went away by myself, no worries about the family, the house or work. Then for some reason I went from the best I have felt in months to the worst and I can't seem to get the good days back again. So frustrating as I feel like I am doing everything that I am supposed to be doing. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

Brand new to prolapse. I am scared

I am 42, I am in peri-menopause. My last baby was 10lbs vaginally. He is 12, my prolapse was too great to wear a tampon for a couple years. Then all was fine. Until one day I was having a really hard time going to the bathroom. I reached down and felt bulge. I splinted to go. I have a grade 1 Rectocele and Cystocele with straining. I really want to do the natural right way without wrecking my body with traditional medicine. I have terrible anxiety. I have Lupus, Type 1 diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, depression. This prolapse is very private. When I first learned I cried.
