Things that work for you

Just thought I'd share this and anyone can feel free to post things that work for them. I read a post on here about ab isolation exercises to pull things up. I never really figured out how to do it but did find an exercise that worked for me that accomplished the same thing. I lie on my back on the floor in front of my couch and put my legs on the couch with my knees bent. I then lift my butt slightly off the floor and then use my lower abs to push my butt back down to the floor. Not sure if that makes sense but when I push my lower abs down I can feel everything pull up.

Tampon use with cystocele problem

Hi everyone, I am 60 years old and had surgery last August 07 for cystocele and rectocele. My gyn doctor did the surgery and all went ok. Then two months ago I noticed a bulge and it's my bladder. I thought of using a tampon to push and hold it up but not sure what to do. The tampon is so dry I'm afraid the tampon would not come back out without pain and that it would soak up any moisture I have inside. Do you grease the tampon with something before you insert or just use it dry?

I already had a hysterectomy when I was 30 years old.

Any help would be appreciated.

pattern/cycle?

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on this...

Enemas

I am trying to search this on the internet but cannot find anything specific but I was curious as to whether using a small amount of water as an enema on a daily basis is harmful? I have figured out that 9 out of 10 times when I have a BM and just can't go it is not because I am constipated but because it just won't come out (like it gets stuck in the kink). I DO NOT want to strain at all so I find that using a warm water enema does the trick every time. I only use between 10-20mls once in the morning. Can this stretch things or do any damage?

I wanted to share this...

Someone posted this on another board I visit---and I thought it was quite appropriate to share here, with you wonderful women. I haven't been around that long (I'm 'new' here) but I already feel close to all of you---and being able to talk with you all makes a tremendous difference in my life.

Pressure Pressure Pressure!!

Oh ladies I am suffering. Been housebound for the last 2 days with really intense pressure down there. I have lost track of my cycle and am sincerely hoping this is just a case of a bad period on its way but my goodness it feels like my uterus must weigh 20 lbs and its laying right ontop of my bladder. I can barely walk around the house its so uncomfortable and I have to keep my bladder empty or the pressure just gets worse.

Oh my god!

I am just watching Oprah and have just seen this woman who holds the record for the smallest waist - 15 inches! She wears a corset 24 hours a day and only takes it off to shower. The bottom half of her body swells out where all of her insides must be - well, you can imagine where I am going with this!!!!!!!

Yikes!

Remember me anyone?

Hello all,

I haven't been on the forum for a good 6 months I think.

I discovered my Cystocele days after giving birth to my son (almost 9 months ago now!) and this was confirmed by my GP a few weeks later. I have been wearing a ring pessary for the past 7 ish months which I found helped immensely and enabled me to (almost) forget about my problem most of the time.
