Worried

I'm 39 and have never been pregnant. Since last week I've thought that I have forgotten to take out my last tampon, but can't find it. I'm worried that I might have a prolapse. Have booked a smear test with a nurse for tomorrow - did so when I first began to feel slightly uncomfortable. Will she be able to tell if there is a prolapse while doing the smear test? I feel very worried - haven't told anyone about this and I think I'm getting it out of perspetive now.

I feel ok if sitting or lying down but very uncomfortable while walking.

Firebreathing - where is it described?

I was just wondering whether anyone could point me to the original post where firebreathing was described by Christine. I tried the search engine but it did not come up. I am still waiting for the book to arrive (I am in Europe so it might take a while) but you all seem to have such good results with this that I would like to try it as soon as possible.

Many thanks,
Reka

Natural Oils for Men

My husband has a lot of back pain--warehouse manager!
Anyhow he likes me to rub his back. I am enjoying the Lavender oil IMMENSELY...what a secret that was huh? I had to come here and Christine reccommends it and I use it all the time now and it is powerful for me. I feel so relaxed I can barely stand it!!
I was wondering if Christine or anyone else knew what sort of oil I could get for my husband? Lavender is great for me but I need a masculine oil for him and I would love to find something that is just as powerful for him as Lavender is for me.
Thank you!!

need advice

Hi, I was diagnosed with cystoceole 3rd,uterine prolapse 3rd and rectocele 2nd. I inquired about using a pessary and my doctor said she can't see me coming for a visit every few months for the rest of my life, to have it removed to clean and resinserted as I am 61 years old and in her opinion I am still young. So to me that meant I should either let it be or have an operation. For now I would consider a pessary except she prescribed a hormone cream to insert in my vagina for some weeks to build up my tissues to be able to use the pessary. My problem is the first warning on the prescription says "may cause cancer".

NEW TO THE GROUP...DIAGNOSED WITH CYSTOCELE AND RECTOCELE AFTER FEB. 1, 2007 DELIVERY

I'm new to the forum and just recently been diagnosed with a cystocele and rectocele from my delivery on Feb. 1, 2007. May I say...how traumatic!!! I was extremely constipated when my Dr. diagnosed my rectocele and cystocele a couple of weeks ago, and unable to have a bowel movement. I had to take stool softners (which I take 2 every night still), an enema, milk of magnesia, and laxatives just to clean my bowels out and get things moving right again. Since Feb. 12, 2007 the only thing I have to do is take my stool softners every night and I'm able to have a bowel movement on my own. I thought this day would never come!! I never had a problem having a bowel movement and it was very discomforting to know that I could have issues with this indefinitely!! I had severe pain in my coccyx area when I was constipated too. Since I've gotten the constipation under control I don't experience the back pain anymore. I've now developed problems with my cystocele. I feel like my bladder is full all the time and my urine output is very small when I do go! After taking my bath this evening I felt a little burning urinating, but I'm unsure if maybe the soap in the tub may have irritated the urethra. Anyway, I'm sceptical if I'm developing a complication from not emptying my bladder properly since Feb. 1. I also feel a fullness in the vaginal area more so lately, but don't notice any change!! Any comments welcome! How long has it taken anyone to notice significant changes with their 'celes after delivery? I'm needing some encouragement:) Does the bulging ever go away?

coccyx pain/injury

Hello,

I am so happy I found this website. I was wondering if any of you have advice or have experienced similiar problems. I am a 35 year-old mother of an adorable large sized boy, and I am suffering from coccyx pain, fibroids, and prolapsed problems.

Five years previous to my son's birth a car accident that injured my tailbone or coccyx. A year later, with some relief and confidence I became pregnant with my 3 year old son. The pregnancy and delivery had some minor difficulties: low lying placenta, over 50lb. weight gain, 9 lb. baby, and a delivery that included 2 hours of pushing. Since then I have suffered another major car accident, some prolapsed problems, fibroids, and occasional coccyx pain.

On all fours.....

I saw this mentioned here some time ago. Is this an exercise or a posture? Does being on all fours provide relief to discomfort from prolapse or cele's? Is this something new in the second edition? Do not recall reading this in the first edition. I do know that it feels comfortable to be in that position whether doing a yoga pose or a floor exercise. But is it recommended or helpful in some way other than that? What is the experience of those here?

soreness after starting using the Posture

I just got Christine's book and went right to the section on the proper Posture to start using (after reading the first section on why). My lower back feels a little sore--also my thighs. I had my husband spot me on how it works and looks (although I could not tell very well from the pictures--wish the lady had been in a form fitting leotard). Should I expect a bit of soreness?

The fire breathing reminds me of some of the Hatha Yoga exercises in Richard Hittleman's old book.

I have already incorporated the postures for urination--feels right.

I am definitely encouraged--

Thanks
