I don't know what this is.... Or how to treat it

the outside of my vagina, near the lips and almost near my buttocks is dry and itchy, and burns.

im a virgin, so i know its not an STD, and this has been going on for about 2 weeks now. i dont have the funds to see a doctor.

are there any other solutions??

the prepublication book

i recieved my copy of the book & cd today. first off the music is good and i love the size and binding of the book. it falls open on my lap and stays open. aesthetically i love it. second the amount of illustrations are awesome and so clarify the many descriptions of our anatomy and of the posture. i read several parts of several chapters and noticed how all the work christine has shared with us here has been compiled in one easy reference. the updated work out looks wonderful and i cant wait to try it. however. i could kick myself for not ordering the batton. im very glad i ordered this.

So tell me ladies

I have a few questions for you pros. I have all my organs thank goodness. I have a cystocele grade 2. I guess thats probably the worst prolapse. A mild restocele and enterocele which I didnt even know about.
My main problem is the cystocele. I am going to order the book. I have been standing differently and it does feel alot better. But do you think that it can be reversed without surgery? I will do anything possible to make it better. But am I shooting for the moon. Am I only going to help with the symptoms or actually help cure myself. I would love your opinions ladies.

Nori Kai has arrived

Hi Dear Women,

My beautiful granddaughter arrived by gentle water birth at 6:35 am today. 7 lbs 11 ounces - she is absolutely perfect and beautiful and looks like a little Japanese doll.

I'm too tired and filled with emotion to write much now, but can tell you that the most valuable component to the health of women are wise and confident midwives. It was a LONG labor and two completely glorious midwives created the possibility for this little soul to enter the world peacefully, gently and fearlessly. And a first-time mother with a perfectly intact perineum. They told her afterwards it looks like she never gave birth.THIS is how it's supposed to work. Mommy, daddy, and baby are sleeping sweetly and grandmom is cooking and cleaning. Life is so beautiful...

Current missed m/c and now today, rectocele too! Help!

Hi, I'm new to this subject matter. I am 37 and a mother to several children.
About the M/C-(I'm 9 wks, but baby died at 6 wks. in utero and it has not yet passed) I would like more children, so a d&c is out if I can avoid it. My bladder has protruded slightly for a long time, (my uterus is tilted forward, so I don't know if that is a factor.)
Anyway, I have taken Borage Oil capsules prior to some of my labors so that I can dilate faster and deliver easier. It has natural prostaglandins in it. I began taking it
(1xday) since I have not yet begun to pass the baby or even spot.

Long Haul Travel by Plane

Hi all,
I have just joined, so haven't yet read all the info but am slowly going through it (at the speed one can with a 4 year old and a 6 week baby!)
I have various prolapses that I noticed 3 weeks after this birth (not sure exactly what's going on...see consultant next week) but my gut is they are all dropping to varying degrees...

This question...
we are meant to travel from the UK to the west coat of the US in 2 months time. Is this likely, especially this early on, to really have negative effects on my body? This travel (2 hours to airport, dealing with airports, 11 hours on a plane with 2 children, then 2 hours travel on other end) isn't fun at the best of times, but i'm worried about how it'll affect my body. Someone suggested a wheelchair at the airport to reduce walking, but that's only a tiny bit of the journey!

Help ladies

Hello all,
I havent ordered the book yet, but am going to this weekend. So Im not sure what it recommends in it. Tomorrow I am going to Disneyland so that is alot of standing and walking. I have a cystocele grade 2. Can you give me any advice on how I can keep myself comfortable the whole day. Thanks alot.

Promoting Christine's work / ensuring women find out the truth about prolapse

Hi All

The question has been raised about how we can ensure that women are told about the risks of prolapse, how we can get the word out that surgery for prolapse is not the only option when a woman has all her organs, and promote self-empowerment when it comes to looking after your 'girls bits'

Suggestions to date:-
Write to the likes of Oprah to raise awareness of Christine's work. What would her Staff say if they received 100 emails from women wanting to see and hear her?

I would like to add:-
Promote Christine's book wherever you see a library of books about women, women's health, sexuality, the human body etc. Get them to buy a copy.

Any kind of Gyn surgery

I am curious but are Drs. informing women THESE days that if they have a hysterectomy or other sorts of Gyn surgeries for whatever reasons they need them, that there could be the risk of having a prolapse after such surgeries and then explaining what prolapse is?

SURGERY

Hi Everyone,

We really need to once again clarify a point that I’ve been making throughout the life of wholewoman. There is a world of difference between the woman who has her uterus and the woman who does not, since the uterus forms the central hub of pelvic connective tissue. There is also a huge difference between the natural pelvis and a vagina that has been narrowed front and back, and suspended to the spine. There is serious difference between the woman whose back vaginal and front rectal walls are surgically fused together. Ditto the front.

I did not have “extensive” surgery, but the fascia around my bladder neck sutured to the musculature of my abdominal wall. This pulled my front vaginal wall forward and caused an immediate and severe uterine prolapse. I have done everything in my power to blow out those sutures and stretch things back toward normal. The fact that I was only slightly injured (relatively) turned out to be of great benefit in cognizing the workings of the pelvic interior.
