BV? How long for honey to work?

Hi

I have been struggling for over a year (more like 3, but only a year of it being more than not) with vaginal/vulval discomfort. At first I thought it was thrush and would treat it with over the counter tablets. It would relieve me short term. After looking on here I started with cider vinegar and honey with some relief.

I've experienced symptoms each time after getting pregnant (ie before I even know I'm pregnant) except for my daughter (my only live child).

Questions

I am fully immersing myself in the WW approach and finding this forum very helpful. One of my major concerns is when I'm walking I often feel very uncomfortable after just a few steps. Is it ok to continue walking if I stay in posture ? I find sitting very comfortable but I need to be able to walk. I also love doing cross stitch , but I have no idea how to do this in posture as I always hunch over to do this. I just wouldn't have the arm strength to sit in posture whist stitching. I appreciate any help.

hypothyroidism, thyroxine medication and constipation?

I am over the acute phase of discovering urethral prolapse, my symptoms have dramatically improved thanks to the help from WW. I now used honey and the toileting position recommended by Christine. I have a cystocele and rectocele (which I understand is commonly the case with post-menopausal women) and I am still left with great difficulty in effective BM. I am trying to address all aspects of my lifestyle, but I already eat very well and am very active and generally fit.

Is this possible?

I have a pulling sensation only on the right side of my vagina/groin/tailbone. Is it possible for the cystocele and rectocele to move to one side and cause this feeling? Any ideas how I can move them back if that's the case?

The Full Story and Insight

So I posted a few days ago worrying about what a prolapse felt like, etc. Since then I've calmed down and am able to think clearly about this whole situation, and how deeply grieved I am that this is a silent epidemic amoung women.

Bidets helpful for rectocele

Forum:

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I've found having a bidet so helpful for cleaning up after stooling with a rectocele. Bidets are basically a small hose with a squirter on the end. They are so easy to install on to a toilet and are great for hosing down dirty cloth diapers too.

Empowerment

I suffer from pretty bad anxiety which after a bout of bad anxiety (month of worry) I get pretty bad depression. I think it may also have a lot to do with my cycle and hormone changes, regardless, it is difficult to deal with.

Vaginal Prolapse

Hi, new here! I have done some reading here and several searches and find nothing about a vaginal prolapse. Is it treated differently then the other pelvic organ prolapses? I went to my primary for a Well Woman and Pap. She was unable to perform the pap as she couldn't even get to my cervix due to what she called a vaginal prolapse. She is sending me to an OBGYN for a pap as she says they have tools that will allow them to safely move things around enough to access my cervix. And of course, address the prolapse. I think I also have a partial rectal prolapse as well.

6 months PP - Background & Encouragement

I'm 27 and had my first baby in a "gentle" home birth 6 months ago (if you can call 47 hrs of unmedicated labor including 4.5 hours of pushing on my back gentle :)). My baby was asynclitic (chin to shoulder) and I learned I have a very narrow pubic arch. I tried every position possible, but the baby only moved forward when I was on my back. I noticed my urethra drop at 38 wks pregnant but I thought it was my cervix moving forward in preparation for birth!

Feeling of wanting to empty bowel all the time

It began about a year ago, I put up with it for a while but ended up at doctors. I saw a surgeon and then had a colonoscopy which was normal and a scan, external and internal ,both of which looked normal. The one thing that sticks in my mind was the nurse said I bad a tilted uterus. Now I still have the feeling that I need the loo all the time the longer I'm on my feet the more pressure I feel. I'm now thinking is my tilted uterus resting on my colon , bowel. Just need answers so I can do some thing about it .
