With Christine's book Save Your Hips, Whole Woman becomes more than just the go to resource for pelvic organ prolapse. Our broader focus now is Natural Alternatives to Surgery for Medical Conditions Affecting Women. Over time we will be adding other areas based on solid research and practical programs. This forum is specifically for women with chronic hip pain and/or diagnosed osteoarthritis of the hip. As with prolapse, the Whole Woman way is information, education, consultation and training. Our beloved forum is the heart and soul of Whole Woman where this amazing community of women reaches out to help and support each other in doing the Whole Woman work. Get educated then bring your questions and concerns to the forum and we will do what we can to help.

In the treatment of pelvic wall disorders, what we put into our bodies is as significant as any other part of the healing process. Foods that nourish cells, strengthen connective tissue, and tone organs are required if we expect to improve our condition. Additional qualities define food as healthy besides supplying our cellular matrix with essential, life-supporting nutrients. Good food appeals, nurtures, satisfies, and motivates us to keep healthful eating a top priority in our lives. Affordability, accessibility, and simplicity also constitute a diet that is desirable, sustainable, and the foundation of health and longevity. Share with us here your ideas and concerns regarding the healing power of food.

The WholeWoman project asserts, as its core message, the fact that the female body is perfectly designed to resist pelvic organ prolapse. Only when this design is compromised does the probability of prolapse increase. Prolapse is a symptom of alteration in a stable evolutionary form hundreds of thousands of years old. We invite you to read the FAQs on the Whole Woman Posture to begin to understand how best to support your original design, and to share your questions and insights here with others.

Perhaps the most difficult factor to consider when we finally understand the problem of postural pelvic support is that very little in our modern lives serves to uphold our original design. From our clothing to our car seats to our irresistibly comfy furniture, the female body is continuously forced into positions that promote pelvic floor weakness and deformity. It may be time to redesign our civilization from a feminine perspective! Join in this discussion on how to overcome obstacles to female pelvic health and well-being through lifestyle changes.
