When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Be Careful!
Tread VERY CAREFULLY, Mom4ever! The chances are WELL in your favor that this is a benign, common cyst!
The surgical specialty of female medicine is geared in one direction – toward taking these organs out! The sooner women can be disinvested of their uterus and ovaries the sooner they will revolve back into the system – again and again and again. Economists call such predictable income an ANNUITY.
You may not be facing a life and death situation, but you ARE facing an extremely important quality of life issue. One look at the ASTONISHING data being collected for ALL THE WORLD TO SEE at hystersisters.com will tell you something is TERRIBLY WRONG with our healthcare system. TENS OF THOUSANDS of women are suffering the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS from these surgical “cures”.
There ARE gentler ways to address endometriosis, adenomysis, fibroids, and cysts of all kinds.
The responsibility is yours to at least gather other opinions.
We do not have a referral service yet and I have no idea where you are. But here is a lead on a very reputable practice that may be able to refer you to someone in your area: www.vitanica.com
Wishing you well,

Ovarian cyst
Renee: What brought you to the doctor in the first place? Were you having symptoms? I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome [PCOS](ever since I was a kid). When I was trying to get pregnant I frequently had to take medication to have my ovaries "re-absorb" cysts before I could continue with any fertility treatments. I had a temporary procedure done once while I was trying to get pregnant called "ovarian diathermy" were they cauterized the ovaries in several spots which caused the ovaries to reduce in size (they were 6 times the normal size) and it stopped my ovaries from making cysts for about 10 months. My body also responded well to birth control pills, meaning I never had a problem with cysts forming when I was taking birth control pills. Don't jump to conclusions yet, and try not to worry. Let us know how it goes when you talk to your Doctor again in a few days. Good luck.

hey mom4ever:
hey mom4ever:
i have had one ovarian cyst (which ended up bursting and wasn't much fun) but don't have experience with recurrent ones. however, while i was researching for the endometrial polyps i had, looking for alternative ways to handle them, i found alot of information out there for ovarian cysts. have you looked into herbs and acunpunture with it? i recall finding interesting information out there with that, as well as diet shifts that could be useful.
and bellydancer's question is an interesting one...were you having pain/discomfort or just being routinely monitered?
i also agree with christine...chances are strongly in your favor that these are benign. i know it's very hard to trust that, but it is true. (i ended up choosing to have the polyps removed because the word cancer was being bandied about and it was all FINE -- but very scary for me, let me tell you -- and i do wish i had trusted myself more with that!)
gather the information from your doctor and then take it from there. and can you call your doctor and speak with her/him so you don't have to wait and worry? maybe the doctor can put your mind at ease somewhat?
let us know how you're doing.
