prolapse

Body:

Hi i'm sooo glad I found this forum, Ive had a prolapse for 7 years bladder was the worse and I have a ball just inside my vagina also this week I have began to feel pressure on my back passage and find it hard to empty my bowels ugh! anyway it feels pretty uncomfortable but i don't want to come under the knife and i'm trying sooo hard to keep up
Idon't urinate a lot so sometimes my ankles swell but found that a little kegel excercise helps and i go more (which is good for me)
sometimes the bulge from my bladder burns a bit (maybe) or gets very uncomfortable as the day goes on.
Also this pressure has started and yesterday I cried because I felt sooo down.
I have made an appointment to see the doctor on Friday I will tell her I don't want surgery but would love a pessary that might be okay for me as I had one fitted initialy which lasted 2 minutes and I walked out embarrased and very sick of it all but carried on and managed because I watched what I was doing, not lifting etc, but I have grandchildren and have been very active with them, thus it dropping farther but I don't have anything falling outside....yet, just this pressure and the fact I'm sitting on a ball...
Any help or advice I would be so glad of

Ive just read about christines posture to help the prolapse and i'm trying this now but don't know if ive got it correct, do you have to do this all the time or at regular intervals, i am certainly willing to give it a try. Also reading about kegels, i to found they gave me a more dragging feeling than I normaly have.
I feel when I'm pushing my belly forward the bottom of my back feels strained (that's if i'm doing these excercises correct)
Also do you think a girdle helps
thanks again for bearing with me

Hi Anne59,

I'm glad you found this forum and I'm sorry you are feeling so down. I, too, am a grandmother but cannot be physically active with my grandchildren. I'm certainly not happy about that, but I do the best I can with them and sometimes have even picked them up when I shouldn't have. It's awfully hard not to when they look up at you with their arms raised, expecting you to take them in your arms and love them. I do get down on the floor to play with them.

Christine's book is the first and only guide ever written in dealing with prolapse the natural way, so if you will order it and incorporate the posture, exercises and eating habits into your daily life, it will help you to live well with it. Eating organic whole foods will also be a tremendous boost to your wellbeing and help with the bowel movements. Don't hesitate to come on here with your questions - all of us are happy to help - and you can always email me directly if you wish - one grandma to another.

Blessings,
Grandma Joy

(((Grandma Joy))) I know the feeling, not being able to cuddle them and lift them up to love them, but I did that and now I am suffering for it but hey even if we had surgery we couldn't lift them again anyway as we might undoe everything so whats the point I say to myself going under the knife for a MAYBE OK job LOL.
I have started the posture thingy and think ive got it right so I am going to keep it up as I have nothing to loose, I have to say (and it's not my imagination)I am not sore tonight down the bottom area nor do I feel pressure, which is a first for many days, I started my posture and it seems to be taking the strain from me ( I am really shocked) but I know I have a long way to go. Is your prolapse any better for the excercises Granma Joy? I do hope you are managing ok.
I am going to get Christines book and go for it I may as well, You can email me to Granma Joy...anytime x
