When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

sorry for some advice that you probably don't want to hear. I'd go to the dr. I bribe myself to go to gyn visits (hate them).
good luck and I hope you're feeling better soon

I think i will Google where the Bartholin gland is located as my Mum had a painful swelling and was a Bartholin cyst.......
brb
Ok info on the Bartholin gland is here......
http://www.aafp.org/afp/980401ap/980401e.html
But I do not think it is that.....
This is obviously some infection - So I would go see my Doctor...

OK still looking around and found this....
A professional health care provider will need to examine you. If a red, tender lump next to the vaginal opening is observed, it may indicate an infected Bartholin’s gland cyst. Initially, you may notice tenderness, warmth or swelling near the vaginal opening. If a cyst forms, you may notice a hard, painful lump. Normally, you can’t see or feel this gland at all. This lump may be up to a few centimeters in size. You may feel the most pain when sitting. Pus may leak from the cyst or abscess or it may not. You need to see a doctor tell your mom..it'll be alright
Found that here.... http://ehealthforum.com/health/topic26932.html
So very well might just be a Bartholin gland cyst... You go to a normal Dr and they give you a few pils or something - Hers (My Mums) Went away and she has had no problems with it since :)
Please update us on what it is and that all is well...

urethral swelling
Hi Sue
Thankyou so much for your answer it was most helpful if it is a cyst which I think it may just be cos i dont have any bleeding or any other symptoms as such, I would be so relieved , it is the protruding red lump at the urethral opening thats causing me concern , the swelling around the urethra is about the size of an olive if you can immagine an olive stuffed with a little red chilli just poking out , then this describes it perfectly,
Sorry to compare it with food but its the only way I can describe the thing !!!!!!!
Will let you know how I get on , I can hardly feel it today, but its stll there, its very strange
Thanks again Sue , take care ..... Ross

HI Ross,I agree with G.Mom,
HI Ross,
I agree with G.Mom, you really need to get this looked at. The bartholin glands are not situated over the urethra but kind of at the sides of the vaginal opening. A swelling of this kind could be any number of things and you can't safely diagnose yourself from the internet. These are the kinds of things that we have Dr's for so don't be afraid to go. You may well find that your mind is put at rest after you go so don't imagine the worse!
Take care!
