When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

oh no!
(((A)))
I had a rather nasty uti recently and wound up with a kidney infection. so I've been trying to prevent another one. this is what I've been doing:
completely emptying my bladder at least once daily
drinking lots of water (8 cups or so)
eating good food, avoiding too much sugar. I've eliminated caffeine a while ago, but I think that's not good for the bladder either.
getting sufficient sleep, as best I can with a nursing baby.
and I don't know for sure, but my gut tells me that stress will wreak havoc with your bladder. its as if a prolapsed bladder is now your 'weak link' and that's what will act up first when you're overtaxed. I have absolutely no evidence of this, but it just seems to make sense to me.
in any case, get to a dr and get better quick!
fluids, fluids, fluids
and hugs to your little girl

UTI prevention
ATS,
I had my first ever UTI not long after being diagnosed with prolapse (cystocele). Since then, I have been drinking at least 8-10 oz of cranberry juice daily. So far, so good - no infections for 2 years now! I can't say for sure it's the cranberry, but many studies suggest it's helpful in preventing UTI's. Cranberry tablets are also available in the vitamin section of the pharmacy - I use them when I travel if I cranberry juice is unavailable.
Wishing you health and a good night's sleep!

herbal formula for uti's
Hi
i have a uti and tried it all! coconut/organic cranberry/manitose/ etc... and was shock horror (for me) considering the western med root when i got a bag of herbs from the herbalist gone in i think one day basically and i'm ashamed to admit it had gotten bad during my investigation of all the options.
Anyway i did post up the exact formula here and so if you're interested search for herb's for uti's urinary infection's and you'll get all the list. I've just moved house recenly and don't know where the list of herbs are from here.
Oh and after year's of investigation yeast infection's can be cleared with herbs (also posted that list up) but even easier and in a few hours with red turkey st john's worth. put some on you're finger and insert. A tip i got from a herbalist.
best wishes

herbal formulae
Hi All
Just a caution about using St John's Wort. If you are taking anti-depressents or other phychotropic drugs, using St John's Wort as well can cause upsets (I think to do with blood pressure, which can cause life endangering things to happen.) Not trying to be alarmist, but just be aware that you need to be mindful of interactions that could be very dangerous.
Cheers

homoeopath
Hi ATS
I have been reading your posts for the past few days and I am so sorry to hear about all that you have been through. My heart goes out to you and I know completely how you feel. I have been there, but you have come to the right where all these wonderful women can give you such support and words of comfort and inspirational stories.
Everything has happened at once and it sounds like your whole system has taken a complete bashing and is out of balance. I would suggest seeing a good homeopath, someone who comes recommended. A good homeopath will treat the whole person- emotional and physical. You mention that you are in the UK. I know of a very good homeopath who has looked after my whole family for a number of years. Please feel free to contact me if you would like her details.
You will start to feel better, you will come through this, and find you own way on how to take control and start your healing. Read all the Whole Woman material and start the exercises as soon as you can from the First Aid DVD. They are very gentle, yet very effective! When I started these 6 months ago, I found instant relief. I am thinking of you and sending you lots of love.
The easiest words to type but the hardest words to take on board. Try to let go of some of the fear. Trust the posture and your body.

st John's wort
Hi
Hi
just to clarify the comment on using the st john's worth. The comment i made about using it for candida, It's not for taking in internally by mouth, where, as the other contributer said it shouldn't be used with for example, contraception, depression med's.. but this is a smear on you're finger and tucked up internally so the dosage there would be approx one quater of a teaspoon topically i guess. I'm not a herbalist but i reckon safe enought for most people.
i would agree though, that otherwise allway's to use herbs with the advice of a herbalist. they're powerfull. So say if you get a formula someone found usefull bring that along to you're herbalist and ask is it suitable for you and can they make this up or something that is suited for you if that particular set of herbs isn't.
Best wishes
