gynae wards

Body:

Have just transferred to a new PT and she was very anti surgery. She was a woman in her mid- fifties I would say and was an honest and kind woman who openly discussed that she thought she might have a rectocele as well. I talked about wholewoman and she was very interested and was going to check out the website even though she had some reservations re the lumbar curve and how PT's approach prolapses. Anyway I didn't really understand what she meant by this but she definitely was going to look at the WW site.

I will stop rambling- seems to just be blurting all out tonight I guess because I haven't posted in a while. She said she has seen thousands of women with prolapses and then visited the gynae wards after POP surgery and women were having second, third, fourth and even fifth repairs and the surgeons were trying slings, meshes, etc. Her own words were that it was horrendous. Yet another verification for me that WW is for me. Thank you Christine for all your amazing work and to all of you for your support and for being there.

which I should have said first time round- am not used to posting anymore- that I felt such empathy with these women for what we are all going through and hope that I can only do my best and try the WWoman way and try and avoid going down any other route. I hope that the WW site is visited and read by thousands more women living with POP and that they too can gain as much support and learn from others' wisdom as I have here.
