got the book and read it last night - had a breakthrough!

Body:

I am still trying to assimilate all this as it is so new to me, but one thing that really gave me an "aha!" moment is based on an experiment Christine recommends in the book. The way I did it was this: lying down or standing up, I tilted my pelvis back and tightened my pelvic floor muscles. Ok, that felt fine. UNTIL I tried the same tightening with my pelvis tipped FORWARD. The difference in feeling was almost jaw-dropping. For the first time it all started to click with me. My muscles were much more powerful with my pelvis tipped forward; in fact, with it tipped back, they actually felt weak. I had much more control with the foward tipping and the tightening sensation was very noticeably greater.

Plan to spend more time with the book and explore the exercise aspect of everything. Very fortunate to have found this site. And I may dig up my overalls . . . @:)

Maybe you can give me a new vision on this - As i always worry mine has suddenly changed cos I am doing something wrong, though I cannot tell what - So maybe as you read it you can tell us what it makes you think and feel - Might open our eyes a bit somehow :-)

Yes, sometimes I think a different perspective can help. I am so so so new at this that it is all a learning process. That's why I have so many questions for you that have been doing this awhile. If I get any other "aha!" moments I'll be sure and pass them along!
