Third Trimester Update

Body:

Hello Ladies,

Well, I've reached the third trimester stage with POP and have about two months to go until the exciting arrival of bubba number two.

Things are going really well with the POP. I really thought I'd feel much worse by now but I don't feel too badly at all. The V2 supporter still helps me out with being active and I make sure I put my feet up once a day (not so easy with an active toddler but I do get there).

Knowing about the posture and diet has really helped a lot too. I have to be very careful to have lots of water and fruit to keep 'regular.' This seems to be my biggest issue so I have to be vigilant about it - it seems I either can't have a BM easily or get to the point where I just 'have to go.'

The only other difference I've found is that my vaginal walls are really sagging - but it's not too much of a bother, and knowing the pregnancy is only temporary helps.

I have no problems with incontinence and am actually a little better at 'holding out' than I was before I became pg.

I hope that's encouraging to any of you ladies out there with POP contemplating another bub, because initially one of my worries was getting through the pregnancy itself with a reasonable level of comfort.

I'll keep you all posted if any changes and post-partum.

Hi Momwithoneandsevenninths

This is great news. It's great to follow a woman through a pregnancy, particularly the last bit, labour, birth and post partum. Consider us as part of your birth team. Keep us posted. Hope it all continues to go well.

Thanks for your comments - this pregnancy is actually going pretty quick for me too Granolamom, though I bet I won't be saying that a month from now.
Will keep you all posted on bub's arrival!
