Has anyone read this book?

Body:

A whole woman by Germain Greer?

Is it interesting?

I was writing a poem....

Called 'The colours of a woman' as yet unfinished and just begun...

For some reason in this I wanted to look at tie dye type T shirts - Cally is 'hippyish' But i find them beautiful - Especially in the purple deep shades - A natural dyed thing. Like a 'natural dyed woman' (Dyed by the colours brought to you by the stresses and strains of life)

I ran accross this book while looking..... Anyone read it who can tell me if it worth buying - Whats in it?

I might hafta find me a hippyish t shirt to show off the inner me - Not that I am a hippy - I just feel that within women there are many colours formed by each thing we go through - colours like the rings of a tree for the years etc etc yadda blah - lol

Cally = typo = really (weird typo)

Lord grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can. And the wisdom to know the difference
Look into the eyes - They hold the key.

Hmm, I seem to remember reading a review of it and thinking this is her most outlandish book yet. Haven't read it myself. Her first book The Female Eunuch was published back in the early 1970's and is imo, a must read book for the modern feminist movement. I doubt that there is a woman over 50 (in Australia at least) who wasn't influenced by it at the time of publication.

She fled Australia as an intellectual backwater many years ago, and has made cynical comments about all and sundry since then, from her European base.

It might be in the public library system by now or university library systems. You near a Uni so you can go have a browse?

Cheers
