When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

I think Champion has come out with a titrator model, which is a more efficient extractor than the centrifugal type. I'm going to look into purchasing one of those for the WW Center. We have a Norwalk at home. It does make fine juice, but it's rather a pain. Once the fruit/veges have gone through a grinder/shredder and into a nylon bag, the pulp has to be run through the hydraulic press. You have to be careful that the bag isn't overfilled with pulp or the whole thing will explode, resulting in beautifully colored and textured walls and ceiling. Let us know what you buy and how it works!

Thanks for your response and the colorful description of your adventures with the Norwalk juicer.. I think I'll be avoiding that one : )
I've heard very good things about both the Champion and the Omega, so I think it will come down to which I can get the best deal on. I tried to find out about the titrator Champion model but haven't found out anything so far. I looked up titration in the dictionary and it said something about determining the concentration of a substance in another substance, so I'm a little confused about that. Did you mean a masticating model, rather than centrifugal? I've heard the mastication function is the best.
I will let you all know which model I get and how it all goes. Can't wait to get juicing!

Yes, I mean masticating...I don't know where I got "titrator" - I thought that was what they called that particular process, but maybe the word came from my science-oriented husband!

For 10 years my husband and I have been using the "Vita Mix Whole Food" processor. While they are expensive (around $300) it has been worth every dime in what it can do. The best feature is that it will liquify the whole fruit, so we have a smoothie every morning with our favorite combination of fruits, juice or water and soy milk. Raw oatmeal, flax seed and psyllium fiber can be added and will be totally blended to a delicious, filling drink.
We've just purchasesd another one on e-Bay at a significant savings. I can't say enough good about this machine and hope you'll become another satisfied user, too.

I just looked at this thread and after seeing Jack Lalane on tv at 91 and how vital and mobile he was I ordered one of his...I hope it's okay--it ended up being close to 200 with shipping...

I HAVE THE JACK LA LANNE'S JUICER.I'M AFRAID IT'S NOT THE CHEAPEST BUT IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA.IT IS VERY EASY TO TAKE APART AND CLEAN, AND IT USES EVERY BIT OF FRUIT WITH NO WASTE.

Juicer questions
I just bought a juicer yesterday. Does anyone have any knowledge on the best fruits and veggies to help with constipation (I have IBS). Additionally, does anyone have any tried and true recipies to share. I made my first juice last night. It was just "ok". Well think I'll make some more while I wait for your responses.

Did you buy an Omega?
What juicer did you end up buying Lilly? I've heard very good things about the Omega: [link removed] and I'm planning to buy one (the J8006), but I can't find a lot of people who have first hand experience with the machine.
As for the constipation, I think the best way to deal with it is to add back some of the pulp into your juice. You need fiber to aid digestion. Also, eat a lot of veggies and fruits in their whole form. The juice alone won't help!
