Dealing With Prolapse In The Midst of Hurricane Ike

Body:

Hi everyone -

Just a note to let y'all know our family is dealing with Ike's aftermath here on the Gulf Coast. I can't believe it's already been a week since the storm hit. The days have all blended together in one big fog, and it feels like the storm hit just yesterday.

We just got our power back, and this is the first time I've been online. Thankfully, I got Christine's book in the mail before the storm hit, and I was able to read it by lantern light. :) I love the exercises in the book, and I'm looking forward to a DVD - as a visual-spatial learner, I do much better if I can see the exercises in action!

My prolapse has been feeling MUCH better this past week - I don't know if it took another crisis to get my mind off it - but I did try some ointment, and my condition improved instantly. I think I was having a problem with dryness and irritation after my exam. Thanks to Louise for helping me through that milestone!

I've been using the posture and walking quite a bit these past few days. Nothing like a power outage to get you back to nature!

Thanks for this forum - and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we recover.

Robin

Hi Robin

Well, that's a week I bet you don't want to repeat! We have been thinking of you, and your absence told me that you had been affected. So glad you are OK and the power's back on.

Wow, what a stroke of luck, getting the book before he struck! Hope the book is helping. I found it great to be able to fill in the technical information.

Cheers

Louise
