Nada chair?

Body:

Has anyone heard of this or tried it? I probably should have posted this question BEFORE I went and ordered one on ebay, but sometimes I'm a tad impulsive. It's a strap that goes around your lower back and then hooks to your knees to support your lower back and preserve the lumbar curve. (See www.nadachair.com for a much better description.) I was searching for ergonomic chair options online and came across this and since I sit on the floor a lot and in bed a lot and am always just adding more pillows and cushions to try to get everything in the right position, I thought this might be the most flexible option. The one I ordered also has the option of extending the straps to your feet so you can sit with your legs straight out without slouching in the low back.

Well, as I said, I already placed the order. (So if it's a terrible idea, break it to me gently, okay?) I'll post my review after I've tried it out.

Sarah

never heard of it, but I'm curious to read your review
seems like a good idea, if not a tad impractical if you aren't going to be sitting for a while.

let us know when you try it out

but I had a recommendation from my Alexander Teacher for a something from posturevolution.com, the wide seat version. Supposedly you can put it in a chair or in your car. Never ordered it, though said I would if I had another baby because of all the sitting and nursing. Look forward to your review.
