When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!

RE: salad dressings
Hi Mare, As you probably figured out, I'm not a good healthy eater! I was raised taking care of myself and my sister and I ate pop and potato chips all our lives. I'm ashamed to say I don't even know what hummus is. I don't eat a lot of junk now, but some days I revert back to the olden days and I do! I would like to eat better but I have always snacked on cookies or chips. I crave salt and then sweets in the evening! Is this a diffiency of some sort. I am not fat, 150 for 5'6 , but not thin either. Do you know what foods cleanse the colon? Nancy

RE: salad dressings
Hi Nancy. Your question is a valid one, Christine is your best resource for a proper answer. Live foods, such as greens, chard, romaine lettuce, beans as in black, or whatever, colored vegetables, such as peppers, beets, carrots and such are always a good staple and healing for the body. Try Christine's recipe for sprouted wheat bread. Once you start eating in a healthy fashion you not only feel better you do not crave sweets as much. And you will have more energy. If you need a few recipes to get started I will send you some. Here is the Hummus recipe, very easy. I toss all the ingredients in my Vita-Mix which is why I ended up with too much liquid as I added the full cup instead of waiting to see what the mix would take. Add the liquid last so you can see if you have too much. 2 cups cooked garbanzos or 1 15oz can. 1/2 cup of Tahini (get some at the health food store in your area, it is just ground up sesame seeds) 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 clove of garlic, 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, 1/4 teaspoon dill weed and 1/2 to 1 cup water or juice from the canned garbanzos. Blend all together in your blender. Use as a sandwich spread or as a salad dressing if it is too watery. Yum. I hope you can get started on a better diet as it could help your condition. Anyway, you would want to see if it would. I have wondered if my diet enabled my body to respond with positive early results to the posture/exercises. Good luck and let me know if you try the recipe. Your friend, :)

RE: salad dressings
I think thin hummus sounds great on a green salad! I love simple tahini dressing: a dollop of tahini, a tsp. of tamari, and a clove or two of garlic blended well with a few drops of water.
Also "green goddess" dressing if you grow a few herbs: a handful of basil, oregano, thyme and parsley, fresh garlic, a splash of water, and a bit of olive oil and wine vinegar.

RE: salad dressings
I have used watery hummus as a dressing on tomatoes and cucumbers. Its one of the only things I can keep down when I'm pg. And its delicious too!

RE: salad dressings
Hi Granolamom! That sounds scrumptious. I just purchased some tomatoes and cucumbers and will try this with my supper. I am going to make some more "watery" hummus and add a little fresh garlic and cilantro. Hope this taste as good. Christine's idea about using Tahini as a dressing sounds yummy. I am going to try that too. I quit coffee today, or I should say I quit coffee flavored half and half. No headache perhaps because I had some green tea and juiced some spinach, an apple, 3 carrots, celery and a red pepper. Hope this works for me. :)

mare - good idea to add garlic and celantro. now I'm getting hungry. And way to go on quitting coffee. I'm down to one cup a day (from 3) but I'm having a hard time giving that up. Keep me posted on your success and maybe it'll inspire me :)

RE: salad dressings
I have "quit" coffee at least 10 times but I really want to quit it this time. No more Starbucks. I think I will survive. When I left VT there were only two Starbucks in the whole state. There is one in almost every store out here. Although I only had one cup/day which I brewed , I made it very strong and added 2/3 more liquid in the form of half and half. I can now say I am a vegan. The dairy was the last to go. It is amazing how much energy you have when you eat this way. I will know over the next few days if I have beat the headaches. :)

RE: salad dressings
I was vegan for a while. My dd was allergic to eggs and milk and since I was still bf, I went off too. I figured it wasn't such a leap to cut out meat and chicken (we ate meat only once a week) and fish was the last to go. With each pg I crave meat so I fall off the vegan wagon. I hope to get back to a vegan diet someday. You are right about having more energy eating that way. Good luck with your headaches...I hope they do not return

RE: salad dressings
I had a little tightness but no true headache. I watch my grandchildren for the next three days so I won't be absolutely sure if I am having a coffee headache or otherwise. :) I made this batch of granola with grapeseed oil. It is scrumptious, especially with blueberries. Thanks for asking.
