Chiropractor

Body:

I was just wondering how many of you see a chiropractor? I went to see one last week and she said that she could "fix" the prolapse.

i've been seeing one for 2 months- no change.

Hi
I went to a chiropractor in Oct.
not sure what to thnk since i did not take up residence with him!He needed me to see him 3x week for months, then 2x week for months and then 1x week. He was quite a drive for me and with our bad winters, I concluded that not at this time shall i pursue this.
I can see possibilities ...

I go to my chiro 3xs a week right now and I have noticed that he's helped. I haven't informed him of my prolapse, though. It really helps with my body's agreement to do the WW posture. My muscles hurt every other day from fighting for the correct posture so when I go to him, it helps relax my muscles, remind my bones where they need to go, and correct problems that I've had for a while. I've been seeing him for a couple of weeks now. I really enjoy it. Of course, I'm lucky that mine offers a monthly fee (membership for a year but can easily be canceled with 30 days notice and no fee) for unlimited chiro care. Before, there was no way I could see him more than once a month when he was charging $40 per visit.

What a wonderful arrangement Harmony.
I agree with you that we need to do all we can to allow our body to normalise. If we cannot get into WW posture and remaining there easily, then I think it is worthwhile using a physical therapy of some sort to enable maximum range of motion and balance.

After a few years we get used to things like a dodgy knee, or tight shoulders and the rest of our body gets used to it and compensates in its own way, seizing up in different parts to protect the injury, or moving differently on one side, so we no longer feels the pain or discomfort. Unwinding this compensation. can be a rocky road but it can be a path to healing.
