Kegek Question

Hey, Ladies,

It is me again with a question. I cannot stop Kegeling, b/c while doing the pelvic floor contractions, I can feel my urethrocele moving up and my front vaginal wall strenghtens and flattens. BUT I tend to "over kegel" and I have muscle fatigue soon which drives me crazy, it feels so uncomfortable, irritated, have to pee again, etc.

What do you think, in my case is it totally unnecessary even though I feel muscles contraction and organs go back to place? OR it is harmful? I love the posture, can walk/be on my feet all day, I just like these additional Kegels (obviously, the goal is moderation) but if they were with no benefit I would stop them.

I guess I just need the reassurance from you guys! :)

I think you just need to have faith in your own ability to decide. Try stopping and see if it makes a difference. You can always take it up again. You will still be getting normal recovery happening for the next six months at least.

I only do Kegels when I feel loose and posture doesn't do the trick. Maybe a couple in a week? Yes, two Kegels, in a week, but I have done them more often after having babies, and I think it is quite good to do them fairly regularly for childbearing years, but not many at a time, and not many times a day. Now, I might use them to lift something, or to wake up my urethra in the mornings before I get out of bed for a first pee, oh, and during sex. That's all.
