When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Getting tighter
Hi Twinmommy
Wholewoman posture does tighten the pelvic floor muscles. Think about putting a stretchy skin on a drum. If you have a drumskin and you put it on a drum that is a size too small for i , the skin will always be floppy. If you put it on a larger drum the skin will be taut. Think of the larger drum as the pelvic outlet in Wholewoman posture. Think of the smaller drum as the pelvic outlet in slouchy posture. Simply put, when you pull up into WW posture the coccyx rises and increases the length of the opening between pubic bone and coccyx. The pelvis rotates slightly on the sacroiliac joints, which are not quite parallel, with the result that ischial spines separate slightly. This increases the width of the pelvic outlet. The overall result is that the pelvic floor muscles are tauter in WW posture. They are at their functional length; just in slight tension. They will respond better to Kegels when they are tauter.
It is very difficult to strengthen a set of muscles that are floppy because their ends are too close to each other. Any muscle needs to be able to contract and stretch fully. The larger pelvic outlet in WW posture produces that gentle stretch. Only in WW posture can you do this with the pelvic floor muscles. This is all explained much more clearly in STWW.
In WW posture your pelvic floor muscles are moving and expanding and contracting on alternate sides all the time as you walk around. This is one of the reasons why walking is so good for you.
I don't know that this is the whole story, but hope it makes it a bit clearer.
Cheers

Just a thought
I was also told by my OB that I do not have prolapse, but I know from Christine's self examine paper that I have a slight cystocele, and rectocele, and my cervix is a bit lower.
If I were you, I'd use the posture 24/7 to prevent more settling out. And if you feel something is not okay down there, do the self exam.
