Surgical aftermath of hysterectomy

Body:

Since I had supracervical hyst, I have felt a discomfort in my lower back when sitting in a lazy boy or riding as a passenger in a car. i do not notice it when driving myself nor when walking nor laying down. Could this be displaced sensatins from the slit on my front side that accomodated the abdominal hyst. Does any one have anything similar- I also had a concomitant sacralcolpopexy and wander if it is the messing around with sacral ligaments and attachments that has caused this discomfort or the sword-like cut in the front of my belly.(i am laughing at this moment but really) The above was not only a waste of time but has left me worse off since my cervix is now sitting in my panties again.(not quite as heavy but am scheduled for interview with another specialist who is apparently more specialized.

So sorry for what you have gone through Sammy.

Sounds terrible. Discomfort? Does that mean mega pain?

Any pain, is definitely not welcomed pain.

Hope you find the help that you need soon. Very soon.

Hugs,

Oceanblue

Thanks oceanblue- discomfort means a sensation that is very mildly irritating. i really do enjoy except fo r this excellent health

Dear Sammy,

Sometimes I feel discomfort as well.

This happens when I overdo. And when that happens, I often do some WW exercises, and that helps.

Might they help you as well?

Hugs,
Oceanblue

Hi Sammy (((hugs)))

Maybe when you are driving your arms are further forwards, so you are not slouched back so far? Perhaps try putting your seat more upright? Suck it and see is my way of finding out about any of this stuff. I doubt that it will do any harm for a short time, even if the change doesn't work, but it will teach you something. I think we know more about out bodies than we give ourselves credit for.

With your body in the state that it is, I think you just need to find out what works and do what you can to change what doesn't. Hope the specialist appointment goes OK.

Cheers

Louise
