When I first “cracked the code” on stabilizing and reversing prolapse, and wrote and published Saving the Whole Woman, I set up this forum. While I had finally gotten my own severe uterine prolapse under control with the knowledge I had gained, I didn’t actually know if I could teach other women to do for themselves what I had done for my condition.
So I just started teaching women on this forum. Within weeks, the women started writing back, “It’s working! I can feel the difference!”
From that moment on, the forum became the hub of the Whole Woman Community. Unfortunately, spammers also discovered the forum, along with the thousands of women we had been helping. The level of spamming became so intolerable and time-consuming, we regretfully took the forum down.
Technology never sleeps, however, and we have better tools today for controlling spam than we did just a few years ago. So I am very excited and pleased to bring the forum back online.

Remember, the forum is here for two reasons. First, to get your questions answered by other women who have knowledge and experience to share. Second, it is the place to share your results and successes. Your stories will help other women learn that Whole Woman is what they need.
Whether you’re an old friend or a new acquaintance, welcome! The Whole Woman forum is a place where you can make a difference in your own life and the lives of thousands of women around the world!
Best wishes,

Cervix searching
I sincerely doubt you will do any harm or make thing worse. You will feel if something does not feel right and, most likely, stop doing it :) One of the many benefits of exploring your own body vs someone else doing it.
Not sure of your exact prolapses but I am guessing everything in there feels soft and full and crowded. Your cervix will be the only thing that feels a bit knobby, like the end of your nose or softly ridged like your lips. It might take a bit of time to see what is what, but if nothing else maybe find it through the process of elimination? Figure out what is your bladder and where it's boundaries are, find your bowel and where it seems to be. Your cervix will be somewhere near those two :) Not sure if this applies to uterine prolapses but often the cervix is WAY farther back towards the sacrum than people anticipate.
Really hope someone with better ideas comes along!

cervix ID
Feel for a raised doughnut shape, about 2cm in diameter with a hole in the middle. You should be able to run the tip of your finger right around it. However, if you're still breastfeeding and oestrogen is low, it might be less obvious, I can't remember.
If your uterusis anteverted (normal) you will feel it coming out of the front wall, pointing backwards. If it is retroverted it feel like it is coming out of the back wall, and probably pointing upwards. Retroversion causes the front wall will feel quite smooth and the back wall might be quite wrinkly. There is another position, an exaggeration of anteverted, where your uterus can come over the top of the bladder and in front of it, and your bladder will be pushed backwards by it, ie you would probably have a big cystocele for this to happen. In this case the cervix might be unreachable.
Learning Billings Method or Natural Family Planning will teach you all about your cervix and the changes it undergoes during your menstrual cycle, eg The hole in the middle becomes bigger around ovulation, and the cervix is more pronounced too.

cervix
I can see my cervix without any trouble. It looks like it's right under my urethra. And then there's a big bulge (falling out of the vagina, just a little) right below that, which I think is my bladder. The cervix is a dark red ring. Kind of surprising.

Hello cervix
Oh, hello cervix, I wasn't expecting to see you here! ;-)
Having a bit of difficulty conceptualising this. OK, do you mean you are in the position described in the Self Exam in Saving the Wholewoman?

Position
I've forgotten now what that position is. I was sitting on the potty and just held up the mirror and checked.
I did do an exam after a shower, standing up, but I wasn't using a mirror. I was just trying to figure out how the prolapsed part felt. It had ridges on it, but it was on the front side, not the back part.

position of cervix
Looking, particularly with a mirror, can be confusing at the best of times. I would try it just feeling, with your eyes closed, so you can associate where and what you feel with your fingers, with what and where you can feel inside your vagina. You can 'feel' posterior and anterior, dorsal and ventral, and left and right, and then you can relate it to a diagram or photo. You will find heaps of photos on the net, even if you have to reduce your security level. If it is high it can hide potentially useful pictures because the word 'vagina' is in the keywords for the image/page.
It is also possible that the position of your cervix varies. Try a few more times, and see if it is always the same. It is your body. You have a right to know where all its bits are at any time. ;-)

cervix and bladder
I can see my cervix right at the opening in the evening hours and towards front top of the cervix something is with layers, I am scared that might be my bladder (I did not think I also have a bladder prolapse arter uterus now??. or it could be a vaginal wall??In the morning things are bit upwards as day goes on start coming lower. But I log in to this forum everyday and a constant motivation from Chisten, Louise, Judy and all of you keep me moving on.

the thing with layers
If I understand you properly, the 'something with layers' is probably just the normal vaginal rugae (wrinkles) on the anterior wall. Does this make some sense? If so, this is good, because it means the bladder is not pushing them out and straightening them, not when you are in this position anyway. The position you are in is very significant because it determines the direction that gravity is acting.

found it!
Happily, I can only just touch my cervix! At least something is in the right place! But never again will I have a look with a mirror when leaning back on the toilet, it's amazing how mch your position can affect how low everything drops! I think that might have been the clincher for me realising how important the posture is! Normally I look when I'm standing up, legs apart and it (usually) doesn't look so bad, but slouching on the bog made it all look 100 times worse! good job I was already on the dunny, as I nearly sh** myself! (sorry if that's too much! trying to keep a sense of humour about the whole thing)

LOL! Truth is indeed sometimes stranger than fiction! If you want to read Christine's description of the pelvic organs and how they behave, put "bags of Jello" into the Search box.
