Q for Christine

Body:

Dear Christine,
Thank you for all that you do. I am already seeing results from the bits and pieces I’ve gleaned from your site, not to mention the amazing support system that resides there. I’ve just gotten your book and DVD, so looking forward to learning so much more.
I have a question that I hope you can help me with. Because I have a urologist appointment this coming week, I am hoping to learn a bit more before I see him. I don’t like going in blind, and feeling that I‘m at a doc‘s mercy because he knows so much more than I.
I seem to have nerve damage that has stopped my bladder spasms. My only indication that I need to urinate is nausea and dizziness, and sometimes a sense that my blood pressure has gone up (haven’t checked it, but it‘s a good idea). I’d like to hear your take on the possible relationship between my prolapse (stage 3 with c/r-cele) and this bladder issue.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Lisa,

Well, you know we only deal with general prolapse issues here and all I can really tell you is this is not part of the common prolapse picture. I suggest that if the urologist is still scratching his head after putting you through urodynamics that you seek the opinion of a neurologist, because these unusual symptoms could even be early signs of a systemic neurological disease like MS.

My hope is that posture and good food will cure all our ails, but some things we need to catch early to turn around. Your symptoms are probably benign, but all we can tell you is that they are unusual enough to seek quality medical care.

Please keep up posted, as everyone will be waiting to hear all about your trip to the doctor.

Hugs!!

Christine

Thanks so much, Christine. That's just what I was wondering, if my symptoms fit into "the common prolapse picture." I'll let you know what I find. Thanks again.
Bless this group,
