A lovely website for Indian (subcontinent) women

Body:

Hi Everyone

I have stumbled upon a wonderful website for Indian women, who live in India or other parts of the world. It is www.indusladies.com . It is so similar to Wholewoman in the way they look after each other and help each other to solve problems and share insights. They have a community Forum with 300000 members (!).

I registered and posted about non-surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse, talked about how it is not widely discussed, and gave some broad hints about how to find Wholewoman. I first emailed them to ask about mentioning the name of the website and was told I could not post a link, so I did the next best thing, in the most polite way I could think of. I was also open about the fact that I am not Indian. I was interested to let them know about out community and invite them to visit, but also to find out about prolapse in Indian women and encourage some intercultural exchange. Unfortunately my post was deleted, probably because I am not Indian. I just had another thought. They might have just unpublished it until they can check us out. It might reappear. Hello IndusLadies, and welcome, if you are reading this. :-)

Let's face it. It is a special place for them, and there probably is no room for non-Indian women, but it was sad because they have so much to gain by knowing about us. After reading some of their blogs and Forum posts I think we have a lot to learn from them about family, womanhood, and how we relate to each other. Take a peek. It is another amazing world!

I am wondering if there are any WW Members out there who are Indian, who would like to post on IndusLadies. An Indian woman would have a better idea of how to express herself in a way that would give the post credibility, and not offend, as I may have inadvertently done.
