what do I have

Body:

I am 55 American and live in Israel. I felt something in my vagina and I went to see a gyn who examined me horizontally and said everything thing looked fine but my vagina was prolapsing "a little" She didn't speak a lot of English but said all of the organs - bladder uterus etc were where they were supposed to be.
Not quite belieiving her I sat up and examined myself and still couldn't
find the "bulge." She suggested that I strengthen my pelvic muscles
through kegelling. I was delighted, of course, except this morning when
I examined myself on the toilet, the bulge was still there.

This bulge is attached to a thick stem and that stem and the bulge is in front rather that towards the rectum. I don't have any problem with urine....

I have already ordered the book because I am planning to strengthen
that area anyway (since I love the way Christine writes about the body).

Any thoughts? I looked up on the web and realized that
whereas before i thought cystocele was the bladder falling forward it is also used to describe the front part of the vagina falling forward.

It is Shabbat so nothing is open until Sunday... except emergency rooms of course.

Confused.

Dear New,

Well

p.s. The core of this work is a subtle shift in posture that we try to maintain at all times. Unfortunately, that posture is better described in the video than the book, as this has been a continuing learning process for me. I've described it a hundred times here and don't mind doing so again if need be, so please feel free to ask if you have any questions or concerns.
